That is the Revelations version of He-man, and that is well known. The first wave is Revelations, and then they are doing what they call "Masterverse" afterwards. This is what I was referring to. Compared to the other things on the shelf it looks 1/12 scale to me. I have the Mondo and yes I agree there are similarities. I would be fine if this is an updated Mondo He-man release.
Ahh, thanks. That makes more sense. I couldn't piece together the road map from that announcement linked above back when it dropped and then it fell off the radar. I do like what's pictured so I hope they go that route. |

Oh man! I love it! the over saturated colors are glorious.
@Tony, so did you know this was coming or did it just kind of show up? |

It just showed up! I had to hit a contact to figure out what it was and all that because there wasn't anything online about it last week. Crazy.

The modernized Skeletor design doesn't gel with the retro aspect of a Jumbo. Super7 understands the aesthetic, but this looks like a dumb giant kids toy as opposed to a retro collectors toy. Would've been so awesome if it was better designed; easily would've dropped the cash, Super7's Jumbos are some of my fave toys, especially their Boba Fett.

Man, with how much MotU product Super 7 made AND with what huge fans of Shogun Warriors they are, this has GOT to sting a bit

True. Maybe a backhanded payback for making an Optimus Prime Machinder. But more likely Mattel observing how much interest S7 Super Shogun was making. Similar to S7 Filmation homage vintage He-man figures.

Optimus Prime is Hasbro though, why would Mattel give a shit that S7 made an OP jumbo machinder.
