Can't really judge what Hathaway will be like until we start seeing some clips of her in action... But I have to agree, the costume isn't that inspiring.
I honestly think the new version of Bane looks fantastic... Not sure about anyone else, but I think he looks beefy enough to portray a realistic version on Bane.

Realism is key, the cartoons and comics portrayed Bane as a character who was 7ft tall and 400 lbs when his veins were pumped full of juice, but he is also a smaller guy when he's not on it. So we could just be seeing shots of him withing having his switch hit. Catwoman's suit could be a teaser and not the real thing or modified along the way... will be interesting to see and if it's half the movie the Dark knight was it'll be worth seeing.

I was hoping for one. But if the figures turn out the way the GL ones did I say they can just skip it and use the money they save to focus in the MM line.

Nolan has a lot of interesting movies, but I feel most are based on fantastic premises that have difficulty suspending my disbelief.
You see them, and then you think about them for a few days, you know, they kind of stay with you, but after a while you're kind of like; a teleportation machine that creates duplicates... WTF!

Honestly the more I see of this film the lower my expectations get. However I think maybe I am just being overly critical seeing as I have called every anouncment before they made it :/

I felt the same way before Begins... and I was justified for feeling that way.

Exactly :/ at this point I noticed comic movies have to bassicly follow a formula. 1st movie Origin Story. 2nd movie Iconic enemy or event. 3rd movie their greatest foe (debatable rather Joker or Ras is a better enemy to the bat.

I have absolute faith that this movie will be BETTER than The Dark Knight. It's going to be hard to beat Joker and Two Face, but if anyone can do it Nolan can. Now i'm not now nor have I ever been a Catwoman fan, so it has that against it for me. But I love the way Bane looks...he looks so menacing, and I think they'll let him break the bat in this. I gather that from the pics I've seen of Catwoman driving the Batpod. I think she's going to take on sort of an Azbat role, and fight crime while Bruce heals from his injuries. I also think it will do better in it's first week than TDK did. Simply because of the hype of TDK.

Let me start off by saying I extremely disliked the whole Knightfall saga in the comics. Then editor Denny O'Neil admitted that the second 1/2 of the story was written as they went along and it shows. I almost think Bane, no matter what any writer or artist does with him in any medium, is as ill conceived of a character as Professor Pyg. I really don't think this movie will top The Dark Knight in terms what that movie did for the whole comic book movie genre those only come around once in a great while, Superman 1978 comes to mind. The more I see leaked on the internet, the more I feel validated in that thought. However, what Nolan has done with second and third tier Batman villains like Ra's Al Ghul and The Scarecrow in Batman Begins proves that he can hopefully make a character like Bane the force to be reckoned with that he was always intended to be. My only reservation with Catwoman is that so many storytellers in the past have jumped too quickly to the romantic aspect of her relationship with Batman. Let's hope it's as a long of an infatuation/courtship a 2 hour movie will allow. I guess we'll find out how good this movie really in the summer.
