Moon Knight here is an extra Bullseye (from the 2 pack) I had lying around with an extra MU MK figure's head, cape, moon dart and staff.
I painted the Bullseye neck ring flat black (acrylic Testors), glued the moon dart to the belt, and glued the rest. I need to clean up the black on the chest with another coat, maybe add the moon symbol on his chest (I kind of dig it as black only so I might not) and I have to decide whether too keep the holster (again, not Moon Knight-esq, but I kind of like the way it looks). A fairly simple custom which begs the question why Hasbro isn't doing this instead of giving us another release of the same fig with less black and more grey in the upcoming 2-pack.

And uses the same Bullseye body type ironically enough. Good job! I gotta do something like this for myself. |

Yeah, I used the Marvel Legends Bullseye as the example. Thanks for the feedback.

Give hasbro time. I'm sure they'll pump out a new buck Moon Knight once they've saturated the market enough with the old buck.
Gives fans a reason to bite on a character they already have. Also, EPIC CUSTOM. Love it! The only thing that could top this is a slightly more armored one using the steve rogers buck and boots. |

Lately Hasbro has been slowly releasing that thing since they first debuted it (I think) with Jim Lee Cyclops. The both DD and Bullseye use the new buck and it works fantastically. |

Thanks!
BTW, here is what I used to base my custom on -- Marvel Legends Moon Knight (plus another shot of mine on the right).

Looks just great- and his head actually looks good on that- it seemed too small on the normal release.

Plus now I have a Moon Knight that can actually stand on his own. The real questions I have are: 1) Should I add the Crescent to his chest? I always thought the Crescent on the belt and the chest was cheesy. Moon Knight should pick one and stick with it. In fact in later appearances it changes to an Egyptian symbol. But should I be authentic to the Legends figure? 2) If I go with being authentic to the Legends figure, should I remove the holster. It would be really easy to do but it kind of looks cool on this figure. Any opinions?

I'm also making a MK right now- close to yours and I made up a decal for the crescent.
My recipie is a Steve Rogers body with modified book wrap tingies into leg bracers, ROC Storm Shadow's arm bracers, MK belt and cape and Zartan hood with Black panther head inside it- Zartan's hood just looks better to me than the MU head. Doing the same for the Shroud. Gotta say, yours is such a great match for the ML version...but he needs the crescent to finish it off. Maybe get some white label paper, cut it into perfect shape, apply it and them paint it silver...that could look amazing. |
