Padme looks absolutely dreadful.
Anyone know where else I can get that operating table from the Darth Vader set? I really don't feel like buying some half-hearted figures for $25+ just for the table. |

Mission Series and Legends won't sell unless they are under-produced. Noone is buying the under-articulated stuff. Black Label I can see selling but man...Star Wars has had it bad since last year.
The sad thing is...Black Label is awesome BECAUSE it is the line that resembles how Star Wars lines were from 2010(increases in articulation, et al). Hasbro was doing it right until oversaturation + under-articulation came into play.

If they did MU/Joe Quality Star Wars figures... THAT would be something to stick a fancy label on. |

What increases in articulation? Black 3.75" still has the horrible t-crotch.

I must be missing something...what is so amazing about these figures? They look like the peg-warmers in all the stores now.

My thoughts exactly. I would be all over some Star Wars figures with decent articulation. This is why I stopped collecting over ten years ago. I have a few of the Movie Hero figures on display but I would snap up some figures with additional leg (not t-crotch) articulation. C'mon Hasbro get with the programme and stop producing low quality figures. They're slowly slipping into GI Joe and Marvel movie figs as well.
And it's the economy that's driving most of the changes you see with the other brands. Hasbro said this would happen about two years ago - that rising oil prices and other increases in materials costs would affect the design and construction of toys as well as their MSRP. I can't speak for anyone else, but IMHO the amazing part only refers to the 6" Black Series figures and maybe a couple of the 3.75" (like that ESB Vader, due to his accessories).
