These were found by Hurrijak at The Technodrome. In the past, he/she's found what ended up being the entire 2013 line-up on his work computer, so I have no reason to doubt that all of this is legit:
The Technodrome Forums - View Single Post - 2013 TMNT Figures Vehicles: Shell Flyer, Grass Kicker Role Play Item: Deluxe Mask - Casey Jones Figures: Mutagen Raph/Don/Mike/Leo with Ooze, Raph Barbarian (likely from the "Larp" series), Deep Cover Raph/Don/Mike/Leo, Squirrelanoid, Robotic Foot Soldier, Battle Shell Raph/Don/Mike/Leo (already confirmed), Leo Knight Larp, Don Wizard Larp, Mike Elf Larp, Rocksteady, Bebop, Tiger Claw, Slash, Mutagen Man, Rahzar, Kirby Bat, Casey Jones. Interestingly, they're all at basic figure price, so I have no reason to believe that Robotic Foot Soldier, Rocksteady, Bebop, and Rahzar (all previous figures that have not been confirmed for the new show yet) are from the Classics line or the re-releases. Also... Kirby Bat? Does April's dad mutate?! Bizarre. Squirrelanoid, Tiger Claw, Slash, Mutagen Man, and Casey are characters already confirmed for next season.

Kirby Bat may be Wingnut and Screwloose with a new name. They may not be able to copyright the original name anymore.
Just hopeful speculation though. It's probably more likely to be april's dad, as has been said (Or both?) I find this exciting. Right or wrong, lists like these are fun to speculate on!

We did get confirmation that they were working on WN & SL for the new show, and I don't see them making TWO bat characters in one season.

Well, I did mention that "Kirby Bat" could be both. using april's dad to reinvent Wingnut, the same way they used Pulverizer for the base for the undated Mutagen Man.
Though the more I think about it, the name in the listings "Kirby Bat" seems like a placeholder. They may be trying to clear Wingnut through copyrights, or they may be trying to come up with a new name that does.

What copyright could there be? Nick owns everything that Mirage did. Unless it lapsed and someone else nabbed it...

What was Slash's backstory in his original appearance? I don't know anything about the character, I've only ever seen pics of custom action figures based on him.
I'm obviously very psyched about the possibility of new, non-classic versions of Bebop and Rocksteady but I'm not getting my hopes up just yet, in case it turns out to be some kind of pricing error if they're really the Classics figures. Definitely didn't expect a LARP set of Turtles, but depending on how they look they could be definite buys for me. Do we know what the Deep Cover variations look like? I don't remember if they were already revealed prior to this or not. |

First episode he was really really dumb the second one he had something done to make him smarter I cannot remember. I look forward to Nickelodeons handling. Corey Feldman will be doing the voice so more guest stars!! Hazza! Isn't the classics line limited to Toysrus? I would be happier if we were getting them all for the new series. The Classics figures are almost too much in the market. The turtles will be competing with each other soon. : ( Also the classics are almost as much if not more than the actual prices of the OG figures on Ebay.

Used in the Archie comics (as seen in my avatar) as a humanoid snapping turtle alien from Dimension X. Essentially went on a killing spree over the fact that his planet was deforested for firewood for Dimension X politicians. Fought the Turtles, later allied with their friends the Mutanimals. More of an anti-hero than the previous version. In the more recent IDW comics, he was made by Stockman's scientists, a snapping turtle mutated using a sample of Old Hob's blood and mentally conditioned to hunt and kill the Turtles. Fought them, got wounded, ran off, and was taken in by Hob. I'd detail his origin in the new series, but I don't know how to spoiler tag, sorry. |

I'll just link to the Wiki article on 2012 Slash for anyone that wants his origin.

Ah, thanks guys. My memory is terrible when it comes to stuff I watched when I was little - I'm not surprised I don't remember Slash from the old cartoon.
I already spoiled myself on his new origin. Honestly, I knew from the start of this show that they would do it that way... I just thought it would be used to introduce Tokka, not someone like Slash. Can't say I'm disappointed though, I love the new design. Y'know, I really wish they would start alternating priorities when it comes to articulation in this line. I can understand why every figure in every wave can't have the same level of articulation as the first versions of the turtles, but what they should do is make every other variation somewhat statuesque (like the Ooze chuckers) to give that wave's villains all of the articulation. So it would go like this: Wave 1: super poseable turtles, limited villains - Wave 2: super poseable villains, limited turtles - wave 3 super poseable turtles, limited villains. They already have that pattern going with the turtles (original, ooze chuckers, stealth turtles) but the villains end up getting shafted every time no matter what - and that's not even taking their size into account. That's a whole 'nother problem... |

Playmates hadn't used Wingnut in so long, someone may have taken it for something else. Also, it doesn't really matter what Nick or Mirage owns/owned, as the toy trademarks/copyrights doesn't work the same way.

I have seen the new figures from the show coming this fall and they are cool
one thing that I am still wondering is when will they be making a Karai figure? Some of the figures are one offs from one episode . She is in about 75pct of the shows and is a major character on the story linen. Anyone hear of them making this in the next release possibly? |

Well the two brainiacs who run the toy line finally got asked at Comic Con WHY they have STILL not yet to give the fans a Karai figure . And they basically said well we listen and do what the fan want ? The interviewer is like ok well thats means your going to make one then go says nothing ? . So now they are now coming out with the Karai mutated figure BEFORE the version of herself really WTF ! ? SO then the slime bag says "Oh lets see how this one sells first " WHAT A SMUCK GOOD WAY TO GIVE FANS WHAT THEY WANT YOU TOOL ! Going by how one figure SELLS FIRST with a removable head sells really thats how he's going to decide to make one of the main character figures thats like 2 years over do ?
The main guy is PHONY who could five a crap about what fans Want and he basically said that by saying lets see how this one sells first ! The need to fire this jerk off . check it our for yourself . So pissed off after seeing this load of crap! You wonder why the releases of characters have been so messed up these idiots are in charge LOL Last edited by Borngreen; 08-10-2014 at 04:44 AM.. |
