One thing that sticks out well is better proportions, good job Hasbro! Also the articulation is better too, specifically more range of motion this time around!

Yeah, the sculpting and proportions on the IM2 line seems like a HUGE step up over anything else Hasbro's done since they got the license...

One area that the 6" figures still suffer in though is the feet. The range of motion is still limited, due to the design, and getting the Mk VI (not sure about the others, as I haven't picked them up yet) to stand in more dynamic poses can be a problem. The shape of the feet means there's not as much surface in contact with the shelf/desk/display area of choice. That, combined with the limited motion, makes balance tricky for some poses.
Still, compared with the smaller verions, I'll take the 6" ones any day. Mk VI is simply fan-bloody-tastic. |

I love this figure so much. Blows the first movie's figs out of the water.

The worst thing about this figure is that it cannot move it's torso forward. I hope this is fixed on the Mark IV.

Of the two I own so far, War Machine is the best, but the Mark VI is a worthy addition to anyone's collection. Now I'm looking forward to the Mark V, "Hangover Tony" Mark IV and *fingers crossed* Whiplash. Yeah, the "Hangover Tony" Mark IV. It has an unmasked RDJ head and is inspired by the scene in IM2 where Tony is sitting in the giant doughnut. There are pics floating around of RDJ holding one. I can't locate the thread at the moment, but it was posted here as well.
