Like, too cool for the toys Hasbro has slated for release to be released BEFORE the world ends?
I've seen all the Joecon stuff, I plan on preordering POC wave 1 next paycheck, and it's all AWESOME. Whereas you had to look for the gems in RoC(and there were plenty, just usually were the difficult ones to get), you have to scrape to truly find anything bad to say about the new stuff. Even the Cobra Commander looks like a BAMF now. This is truly the BEST time to be a Joe fan in my opinion, as the new era seems to be unfolding, finally modernizing the property in a COOL way. If anyone says any different, see City Strike Beachhead or Desert Strike Dusty. 25th Anniversary? I don't even remember what that was. |

Admittedly, while I collected some of them, my interest faded a little for some time, but I was able to attend Joecon for the first time this year and YES!
Hasbro, you have my attention! |

But the entire POC line seems to overshadow that figure, now. |

OK I will be he voice of decent. There are some very cool designs, a the same time here are a few that require a "WHA-?" factor. Like Storm Shadow with a power rangers head or the insane looking skydiver. Armored destro is fugly.
Again i admit there are many I do like, but just as many I don't. |

I have to admit, as a new collector (and an anal one at that), I like consistency and I think this "quasi-reboot" is the thing to recharge old collectors and lure in new collectors. It is definitely working on me and I plan to get those 7 packs

I'm with you buddy. I CANNOT WAIT for these figures to be released. Beachhead is my favorite Joe character and that POC version is just unbelievable. I thought about pre-ordering the whole wave, too. I usually prefer to find them in stores, mainly because I don't want every figure, but I'm very tempted to take the plunge and just order the whole damn wave this time. I really do want every figure and I don't want to take even a miniscule chance of not getting any of them.
I'll probably pick order the wave and then pick up an Alley Viper and Beachhead when I find them in the wild. I'll need dupes of those two. |

Its not just you, OP. This 2010 lineup is going to pull me back into Joes in a big way I think. I really like the modern COD look they're showing us.

Have to agree, there's a lot of cool stuff coming down the pipe. I want almost all of the single-carded figures, both 7-packs and a couple of the Bravo vehicles (which I normally stay away from due to lack of shelf space). There's even a couple of Alpha vehicles I like.
But it still remains to be seen whether I can afford them or not, since Transformers will have top priority for my disposable income. But since I don't really plan on collecting Power Core stuff, maybe that will be my window of opportunity. Well, that and a raise.

Low light looks awesome, and I think that Destro with the briefcase of money is overlooked, it looks sweet in person!

That Destro is AMAZING, it may be an unofficial Sigma 6 homage too. Anyone remember bank robber Destro? That Destro was the 1st thing I saw this weekend after work and it looks incredible.

The 2011 Snake Eyes is beyond cool as well. It reminds me of the Sideshow figure in a way, with the bonus of two heads! It all IS very CoD or MGS-esque, and as many posters here know, I dig the near-future stuff of MGS a LOT. |
