No, it's time for the First Appearance Storm to get a figure.

Anything other than another Mohawk Storm. But we almost have everyone for the 90's Xmen Again. So would like to finish that off.

Well, we’ve got a little over half of them (Cyclops, Wolverine, Psylocke, Rogue, Archangel and Jean, assuming you were lucky enough to acquire those last two) and need about five more (Gambit, Jubilee, Beast, Storm and Professor X in his hoverchair), but yeah, put me down on the side of completing the 90s team first.

Besides, we’ve gotten (I think) more of the 90s supporting cast and antagonists recently, what with Cable, Deadpool, Shatterstar, Stryfe, Bishop, Multiple Man, Sabretooth, Apocalypse, Omega Red, Onslaught and so forth, although I imagine “Giant-Sized X-Men” fans might use that as argument for more 70s characters. |

Jeez these suck. Hasbro why don't you just send me these and I'll dump them all in my landfill for you free of charge? No need to thank me. I know I'm pretty self-sacrificing.

^ You're not gonna update your Domino with the latest deadpool wave Legends version?
And yah... this wave needs to hurry up. I need that Psylocke to make my incomplete Legends X-men display to be considered good enough complete in my mind. I can live without 90's Jean Grey that I regret passing on for 40 bucks at a toy show just before the Juggernaut wave was announced. But I need that Pyslocke... when I get Psylocke I will open up my Archangel and do a proper setup. |

^ Yah, the body and outfit on your Domino is awesome and more tactical looking and way better than the Mockinbird repaint version, but I still like the deadpool wave Domino headsculpt better.
And I always loved unmasked Archangel even though I pretty much stopped reading comics by the time that became his normal look for a little while. |

It's kind of lame that BBTS is only doing the case of 7 for $155 plus shipping while Dorkside is $165 for the case of 8 with free shipping.

Funny how unless you're in a MCU movie or current cartoon, you are considered a "peg warmer" even though you're the top 10 powerfullest character in the known marvel universe, basically Marvel's Superman.
These non comic fans today wouldn't know a cool marvel character if it cold cocked them in the face. Gladiator is my #1 want in this wave followed by Wolvy/Sabes, only 3 I'm getting from this wave. |

Not to step on your whole... rant, there. But he was probably right about Gladiator peg warming. He's an awesome character who does not pop up often enough, though sometimes I wonder if that's for the best because he can resolve more than a few plots far too quickly. Certified omega class bad boy.
But his appearance is goofy as hell. Did you ever play that old super hero PC MMO, City of Heroes? The character creator was spectacular, though the visuals and overall presentation were limited by the technology of its time. Gladiator looks like something a six year old would cook up in the City of Heroes character creator. If you're a kid picking one of these figures out, do you think most will want Wolverine or the dorky elf in flat spandex? I've spoken to a depressing number of comic readers who don't give a crap about Marvel's cosmic stuff, and I doubt those are an isolated few. Gladiator is my second most coveted figure in the wave after Storm, and I suspect I will have zero difficulty in finding one. Yeah, BBTS has absurd prices. I used to order stuff like this from them because they would get theirs first, but that has kinda stopped being the case? Last edited by Brownfinger; 06-06-2018 at 01:19 PM.. |

Just pre ordered the entire set on Amazon.ca
Whole wave is still up for anyone in Canada wanting the wave without wanting to pay for international shipping and customs fees. Last edited by Omega; 06-06-2018 at 02:37 PM.. |

Awesome wave! The only let down is Magneto. I am still waiting on a better update for his 70's - 90's look.
Wolverine's head looks weird. I'm changing it out with the retro head. The biggest must haves for the Jim Lee 90's team would be Professor X in his hoverchair and from the 70s team; Storm because as far as I know, we've never gotten those in figure form. The rest would be updates to the ToyBiz versions we got. |

So yeah...fairly obscure character not from a current movie that's already been released in some fashion? Good chance of pegwarming. |
