Figure looks great but I'm going to be annoyed if the money case is all he comes with, especially for a so-called "ultimate" figure. Where's the futuristic binoculars, the sleep-inducer, or the USA Today newspaper that all would be logical accessories?
We didn't even see the money case until they returned to 1955 when Doc was in a different outfit (his 2015 pants with a different shirt instead of the yellow overcoat or red shirt and tie). This is the 3rd time they've oddly mismatched accessories or excluded ones that would have made more sense. First the weird blueprints with 1955 Doc that we never saw in the film, then the vanishing photograph and disappearing hand for Band Audition Marty, and now this. It would be like including Marty's hoverboard with the upcoming Griff figure instead of the character/costume it actually applies to. We'll now probably never get the 2015 Doc accessories I mentioned above unless they get incorrectly paired with another figure in the future. Last edited by ShabbyBlue; 03-19-2021 at 12:41 PM.. |

Yes it's a preview, but I'm not wrong about NECA's mismatching or exclusion of accessories with some of the figures in this line so far. And the first pic of him weeks ago showing just the money case was a real preview. This new set of pics looks like a full reveal, hence my concern that the money case is still the only thing shown so far when these scenic poses could have also had him posing with the binoculars or showing Marty the newspaper. I'm hoping for the best, but expecting disappointment once again when it comes to missing accessories.

Jason was shown with all his accessories months ago when he went up for preorder. You can see the full assortment of accessories for his listing on BBTS.

I'm less concerned about accessories and more excited about the sculpt and overall spot-on look of the figure. This whole line has been a dream come true, but people still need to whine about minor things.

How come you're not talking about red vest Marty coming with the mini guitar?

I presume they are including accessories in certain ways because they figure most people are collecting the entire line.
Or it's a way to GET you to buy the entire line. |

Doc Brown might be the best likeness NECA has ever done. It is really quite incredible how spot on it is.

Just wondering whether NECA will make the pants yellow.
Also, wondering whether the coat will hang differently, so figure's legs can be posed in a wider range of possibility. |
