It's honestly better than the movie- though it's got more profanity, there's also more story- including some big setbacks the movie edited out for time.

I had an unexpectedly packed weekend for figures. First at Walmart I found an endcap display for the new exclusive Transformers so I picked up Cheetor. It's the Kingdom figure but with colors closer to the original toy. The dark metallic blue is the most immediate difference, I think it looks so much better than the plain light-grey standard version which I've passed on many times now. Then at Target I got very lucky and entered the toy section as they were stocking so I found a fresh case of GI Joe classified wave 3 and the Black Series assortment with Gideon and Dark Rey, I only picked up Zartan, the Scarlett repaint (not pictured, it was for someone else), and Moff Gideon. Zartan is just a pretty damn fun toy overall, he looks great and is sturdy, my only personal gripe is that I find the monkey paw trophy to be such a weird accessory for him. I'm not super-versed in Joe lore but I don't recall Zartan ever going for mysticism, I get the snakehead but can anyone explain the monkey paw? The Scarlett repaint still looks good but personally I prefer the original, the colors popped more and I liked the more natural freckled redhead look. Moff Gideon looks good, the likeness is better in hand than the early promotional images suggested. Sadly, at least on mine, his shoulder pads restrict his shoulder hinges so his overall articulation winds up subpar but he can still stand around in a menacing fashion. Finally, my BBTS pre-order for the Select Hulk arrived. I don't know why they changed the name of this figure to "Immortal Hulk" so late in the game when the original "Rampaging Hulk" title was a better fit. If I were told a company was doing Immortal Hulk the assumption would be that it would feature Devil Hulk's specific psycho grin, this is just classic Hulk with a cosmic Hulk alt-head. I have no intent to display him with the robot's head but it's not a bad prop to suggest Hulk just thrashed his mecha-mimic. I really dig this Hulk figure, he's nice and big, he's solid, and he's almost as articulated as Hasbro's 80th anniversary Legends Hulk. For a 7" scale classic comic Hulk it doesn't get better than this.

I don’t know what this kid is destined for, but I hope he doesn’t forget us. Lol. Again thanks for that. I’m really running on over-drive to keep up with him. So I spend a ton of time looking for new stuff for him to learn/read/listen to. |

Thanks for that. He just turned 7. He is in first grade. He reads at a 5th grade level and has moved on to 2nd grade math. His spare time is on YouTube watching space videos and science stuff. He practices the elements from memory. He is in the teens on that. He and I read Jules Verne a lot. I have never seen a more dedicated kid. I’m actually a moderately smart adult but honestly, his intellect is now surpassing mine. His teacher worries he might get board and may need to skip ahead. He is still a 7 year old little boy. I don’t want to hurt him by not advancing him but I know he needs more challenges. I’m constantly looking for new programs and books for him. ‘Santa’ brought him a pretty advanced telescope and he has been thrilled to finally have good weather to use it. He can tell me how long Jupiter takes to make a full rotation. Lol. I have him in karate as well because he is very tall for his age. My wife is 5’2” and I’m 5’9” on a good day...lol. His growth chart says he will be 6’4”....maybe the mail man was tall.....lol.

Sounds like you have him on the right path. There are a ton of online options for learning outside of school. Try to find groups of kids that have the same interests he does in science and science-fiction. Read a cool story about a 14 yr young lady's science fair project to help NASA get a ship to Mars dealing with changing space conditions. I thought NASA should hire her today.

Ventress is another character I've wanted a 6" figure of since the line began, great time to be a SW collector.

Also, yesterday's haul. I found these two at a Target along side two of the new deco Scarletts, two Zartans, and an original Roadblock.

I'd say since they got a second shot, they didn't. J&J is a one shot deal.

Moderna.
There's a chance I'll have some flu like symptoms with this second shot but that should only last a day or two from what I've been told. I feel fine so far but just to be cautious, I'm not planning on leaving the house for the next couple of days. |

I feel fine so far too, but I put myself unavailable tomorrow just in case.
Nope, the place I went to gave me Pfeizer. I honestly couldn't care less which one I received just as long as I have the card saying I did. Back at the end of Feb I couldn't work for a week and a half because a kindergartener had a false positive, so I had to self quarantine for 14 days, which also meant I didn't get paid for the days I didn't work. That was just completely unacceptable, but now that I got the shots, I no longer have to quarantine if a student tests positive.

I understand why he didn't also have the gun since his cheetah mode is pretty compact and sleek, there wouldn't have been the space to store it in an even remotely pleasing fashion. I do hope the alleged Tigatron we might be getting later in the line has the gun since at the voyager size class and of course being a much bulkier cat he'd have the capacity for it.
