Not bad at all, considering the electronics and breakaway buildings and stuff, $105 is pretty good IMO.

Preordered, but I hope they make some adjustments between now and final release to get the outfit more accurate to the show (particularly shrinking the chest, which usually isn't so broad).

A brothers mantle by itself in the SHF line goes for $50 so all this for around $100 is a pretty good deal.

The visible stitching around the side of the costume is rather ugly. The accessories are great but the costume just looks wrong with the stitches being so obvious.
And for the price I can get like 2 Ultraman SHF’s so… pass. |

Not sure why they didn't make the back of the head red. The rest looks really good but the head is bugging me

I've seen a couple people complain about the stitching, it's impossible to do without stitching. I'd rather the stitching than a million articulation breaks. His suit is so simple they look terrible in comparison. |

If we want to make this into a pissing contest for whatever dumb reason, a standard retail SHF Ultraman bundled with a building set would be $48. Quote:

Articulation breaks are plastic joints, it's not like they're trying to be seamless. But trying to be seamless by going with a suit and still failing is worse IMO. |

Nope. Buildings are sold separately, capes are sold separately. So I can easily skip them if I don't need them.

Yup, his suit is so simple that you immediately notice stitches that shouldn't be there. Articulation breaks are plastic joints, it's not like they're trying to be seamless. For the $48, that's the Japanese price of last year’s Ultraman Z which was rather affordable plus the standard building set. But to be honest, I don't know why I wanted to have this argument to begin with, Dukefett clearly likes the figure or at least the direction Mezco is going for, I don't, and there's no reason to butt heads about that. So I’m sorry for being needlessly aggressive and derailing the thread to pity arguments over personal taste. |

$60. But I am talking about the Japanese prices, which I know is a bit unfair since if you would want to obtain them here you either pay shipping or a local shop that charges you more to make a profit. That adds up to the prices you mention.

Yeah....
The only "Neg" to me... Is the "stitching".. The Ultra suit would have been nice... If it was made, like a one piece "Scuba"... with hidden zipper in back IMHO.. Well...Que sa ra sa ra" I guess =^)

1. His back side not being red is concerning, hopefully they change that.
2. The eyes look weird, maybe because they seem farther apart or they don't have the black eye holes underneath the egg shaped eyes. 3.The chest is definietly to wide and big. I hope they have a new update image of the final figure later in the year, before i pre-order. |

From far away it looks cool, but then some of those close up shots were like, eh.
I love all of his accessories, but I'd like to see how he scales with the Figuarts before I were to even consider it.
