Great photos! What did you use to give Hagnon a greener or bluer look?

I'm banking hard on these in stock sales coming up. Do they normally go well? I'm just worried it's like ordering SDCC exclusives or they don't even stock every figure.

They just implemented a new rule at the last sale where the first hour of the sale limits everyone to only two copies per figure, and it was a lot easier to get what you wanted in that time period.

Next round is up, grabbed the big dudes from the Bjorngarr wave. Really nice figs. Big, solid, dense mofos. If you scaled up their solid normal guys, you get these. No corner cutting.

Great shots as always, Tony. My Ogre scal figs arrived a few days ago and I'm loving them. Big fan of the line and 4H's work

How on earth is this anything like MOTU??? They are your garden variety orge, troll, orc, skeletons, etc.... I really like these figures. But I am way too tapped out to start up another toy line.

I really liked the Ogre scale figures; the paint detailing on the armor and harness is well worth the upgrade over the Legion builder Ogre.
I didn't really like the weapons provided though for these two. They a small (scale wise) axe head and a super long pole seemed odd. I'd love Ogre/Half Giant Deluxes in the future like the Barbarian Deluxe builder. |

They both have big muscles . Once you buy 1 figure you'll be hooked. They're so customizable the possibilities are endless. Last edited by firmpulse; 11-13-2019 at 03:28 PM.. |

I'll be getting the Half-Giant Ogre Kkurzog for sure! He's awesome!
I wanted some Ogre legion builders as well, but I haven't gotten them yet because I don't like how they don't have an unmasked head. I might get a few Kkurzog figures instead since I do like Ogre's being taller than humans. I'm mainly getting iconic villains from this line to add to Master of the Universe Classics, ThunderCats Classics and hopefully an eventual Dungeons & Dragons based on he 1983 Cartoon line. I try to limit myself due to already having to sell half of my collection, and I'll be only choosing nostalgia lines now. This line is an exception since it fits in so well with other fantasy lines. The cost per figure is high and also many share the same parts which makes them less unique. I would have been sucked in a lot deeper if not for that. I have been tempted a great deal to get a lot more figures many times, but tell myself that the parts sharing is he thing that would bug me if heroes and villains, wizards and warriors alike wear the same very specific boots, armor, etc. Master of the Universe shares a lot of parts as well, but they do have more variety imo and there is that nostalgia factor which plays a huge part as well. Since this line is an exception to my collecting rule, I have to be more strict about it. I collected the following so far; Fan’s Choice Vorgus Vermillius The Blood Armor, Skeleton Legion Builder x6, Bog Goblin, Goblin King No’glin, Goblin Legion Builder x6, Dwarf Weapons Pack (For Goblins), Templar Knight Legion Builder, Delphina of Eathyross. Arethyr with Aetheon would be a cool addition. I do like the various different Goblins and I missed out on the Trolls due to price only to see the price double... |

Same! I always misconfigure, or miss configuring, these guys. I always forget to go looking for reference photos. Too many options!

I'm really enjoying the past couple waves.
I wish I could get another shot at some of the Homage figures though. |

I didn't preorder this set but I definitely will be picking up some on the in stock sale. I really like the ogre scale figures of the Bjorngar wave, so want to get the cyclops one and I like the cat warriors too.

Those are some great photos
I have most of the Legions. Together, they make up the best display I have in my overall toy collection. |

I can't seem to find any threads more recent to post this..but for fun i wrote a little scene about Kronnaw from Mythic Legions Wasteland,(forgive my bad grammer)here it is: In the dead of night, there is a haze of mist covering the marsh land, the nearby town was brimming with lantern's light and the night was calm with only echoes of sounds coming from deep in the marshes. Two guards stood watch outside the town's gates talking amongst themselves "where is our relief? It's far past our time to watch these bloody gates!" the guard asks the man to his right, the other responds "I'm not sure, they should have been here hours ago." Then a moment later they hear the sounds of footsteps and cracking of branches from the foggy marsh, followed by a figure cloaked in shadow continuing forward until light hit and they could from some distance away barely make out what they thought was a soldier. "look over there do you see!?" said the guard with a quick reply "yes its one of ours from what i can tell." but as the being moved closer and closer to the guards, something started to dawn on them..."wait" said the guard, the other responds "what is it?" with a reply "Im not sure...something doesn't make sense about this, its just one man, there should be two coming to relieve us." and their eyes widened as they came to realize what was happening. As they slowly turned from each other to look forward... towering over the men, stood something more monster than man, staring down at them through a horned crude helmet. Its skin was blue, looking nearly black in the moonlight, its armor reflecting the crude nature of the helmet. It was clad with many implements of war, It looked...unnatural. The men tried to quickly draw their weapons in a panic, one guard was able to stick his sword into the monster all the way to the hilt but to the guards surprise, it stood unwavered, as if nothing happened. With one swing from the monster, both men were crushed..it proceeded forward. Though the wooden gates were locked, it meant little to this beast, the door was broken down with just a few pounds from its fist. Then...the massacre began.

I bought the Hellphyre goblin on a whim & am more pleased with him than expected. it's odd its tongues look completely different rather than one rolled out or retracted.
On the other hand, I'm frustrated with Arethyr & his horse. When his wings aren't popping out, they're putting him off balance. His sword is also heavy & he can't do two-handed poses for extra support. The ankles are loose enough that he's tricky to stand even without the wings. Everything is cumbersome & pointy so it's a pain to adjust him. One of the stirrups keep popping out so he brings his horse down with him. I'm not sure if I should glue it in or if that'd make it harder to get him in position. It would've been cooler if the yellow bits of his steed were cast in translucent plastic too.

I also agree, would have been cool if the yellow bits were like Arethyr's head/sword. |
