At this point the chats might be the best thing to read from these streams as people are way too serious at times. I get being frustrated, but god damn do many on the chat take things to a whole new level. There were even GI Joe peeps bombing the Power Rangers stream a few weeks ago.
If push comes to shove, I will walk away from this line just like I walked away from Legends when I got tired of buying movie figures for comic character BAF parts. Just not worth my time or money. Hopefully Hasbro works this out though as I am really digging the figures in this line WAY more than I expected to be when I bought some on a whim. |

Yeah, I generally avoid reading chats for that very reason but when it was scrolling in my face it became hard to ignore at times. I have never understood rabid fandom nor do I understand the mentality of bombing other streams/chats about it.

First off, is for what you mentioned, it's a chore at times when the line is so difficult to find. That's why I set myself with a bar of who are my must haves and who I may nor may not buy depending on the situation at hand. Like if I come across Breaker and the bike, I'll grab him. If not, then no big deal. My second reason is I went overboard on the line from 10 years ago. I was buying at least two of every figure, one to open, one to keep unopened, and then about 8 of EVERY army builder. I just had no self control at the time as even my Transformers, MOTUC, and DC collection was out of control. I invested way more money than I should have and regretted it down the line. I've attached some pictures of what my collection looked like in the apartment we previously lived in. Well, they're after I had to put the loose figures away, so you'll only see the MOC/MIB stuff.

I am leaning toward that exact same thought with the Joes unless the line becomes widely available. I keep barely anything MOC/MIB anymore but even then, most everything I collected was just going into a storage bin. Overall it became a waste of funds. I actually stepped away from figures as a whole until the Joe line came out. If it remains in its current state then I will just walk away again. More funds for other hobbies or emerging interests.

Well that was a nice surprise. Refreshed the Major Bludd page this morning and it showed available for pick-up at a couple of the locations around KC. Just got the confirmation message. Guess I know what I am doing after work.

Hope people got their orders in for Snake Eyes and Timber (I did thankfully) ...cause BBTS's site is crashing hard from the increase in traffic right now.

Snake Eyes and Timber are up on Pulse and Dorkside now as well. Pulse had the Regal and Supreme editions of CC back up momentarily as well but they were Premium locked.

Did they ever say when Barbecue & Breaker were going up? With all the refreshing I was doing on Target's site for Galen Erso & General Merrick, I was also checking for those two, but nothing came up. Amazingly, the two SW figures are still available an hour later. I'm thinking it's because they limited each to one per order - now the bots can't order a dozen at a time in seconds! Hopefully the two GI JOE's will be this easy!

I had to preorder him at BBTS because Pulse was sold out by the time I learned he had gone up for preorder today. WOuld have been nice if TheFwoosh or ToyNewsI had announced this a few days ago, but whatever.
I don't see him on Amazon either.

I had actually forgotten about Snake Eyes dropping today, until someone asked about it on one of the Star wars boards. Thankfully Hasbro was smart enough to NOT make that one an exclusive. |

I'm starting to dislike the fact that I paid for Pulse Premium. Early access to restocks, like Firefly and Viper, do nothing because they sell out in 30 seconds or less. Then preorders from the manufacturer sell out so quickly that you have to go to another retailer if you aren't glued to the site. Then the release dates are months later than other retailers.
So it's hard to care about free shipping when you aren't actually getting anything because you had to rely on another place or found it in stores. |

You wouldn't? I would! Beach Head was a major character in the movie and in the shows, I love Beach Head! Didn't surprise me that he sold out just as fast.

True, but compared to an army builder who people want multiples of, and the top female villain who ranks right up there with Snake Eyes in terms of popularity, Beach Head is still a bit lower, yet he didn't last long, either. The "Heavy Duty" Roadblock was admittedly easily available, but it was a version that never appeared on TV, and there was already the regular version was already out there & easy to find. No such variant exists of Erso & Merrick. I think the one per order just took the bots out of it, so you couldn't have a dozen or more per bot ordered in seconds like with the GI JOE figures.

Was just at a Super Target with a full case plus of Major Bludds on the pegs, maybe a sign that things are changing?

I hope they never change the Classified box design... it irritated me so much when Black Series changed the boxes to have a slant on one side.

But remember that does not apply to Troop Builders, if/when they re-release the Cobra Trooper, you know he'll continue to be hard to find as people would buy multiple. |

Yeah, I was shocked beyond belief last week. The first time I've ever seen GI Joes on the pegs at my local Target and it was a bunch of Major Bludds.
Hopefully this continues with the other Cobra Island Rereleases. |

My target went from 0 to 3 restocks in a week and a half.

Bludd's even available to order on Target.com right now, both pick up in store and even, believe it or not, ship to home. |

Found Flint and Jaye at my nearest Target... so I guess I am gonna start collecting this line. The Target website says the other Target a few miles away has Bludd in stock, so I guess I will try there tomorrow. I am like 90% sure I will keep everything MIB though... I already have all my 3.75" Joes to actually play with.

I counted 14 Major Bludds available at my local Target this morning. Really surprised me since the only time I have ever seen any of the other Cobra Island figures there was Roadblock on release day and Beach Head. Hopefully this is a sign that things are changing.
