I love Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron, he's easily the main reason I like the character. Season 3 of the cartoon obviously had to scale Galvatron down on his threat-level by making him insane since they weren't looking to kill any more characters, but really it was Frank Welker using a goofy, higher-pitched voice that diminished my view of the character in that series.

I finally got the McFarlane Rebirth Flash. I'd been waiting to pick this up until I saw the Injustice 2 figure in-hand to decide which I liked more, but when I started finding the game version suddenly this one was just totally gone at my stores and wasn't up on Amazon either. Earlier this week though I had to leave my usual hunting grounds and I found it once more. I think the bright colors just pop, the smiling face fits the character, and the lightning speed force pieces really give it a dynamic quality. The Injustice 2 figure came out well but the stoic expression and duller colors are what lost it points and gave the comic figure the edge for me. I also got in my Amazon order for the kingdom leader Galvatron much earlier than the originally listed mid-late August window. This is just an amazing Galvatron but unlike the kingdom Beast Wars Megatron who was a true leader this is a return to Hasbro selling a voyager sized figure in a leader box. He is a larger voyager sized figure though and then the inclusion of the Matrix of Leadership necklace (not pictured) is nice, plus he has two shrunken down versions of his ship as decently sized extra blasters. I did happen to get one of the incorrectly assembled figures (the shoulders) but it doesn't really bother me since it's only a 5mm difference and it doesn't cause problems for articulation or transformation in any way, and sometimes in the cartoon his shoulders were set a little lower anyway. Agreed,it's damn good Jim Lee always delivers quality!

Honestly they should've just stopped after the movie. The seasons after (with the exception of zombie Optimus) were really weak. Pretty much like any show that keeps on chugging after most of the main cast decides to take off. |

I'll agree with that. Same goes for Robert Stack as Ultra Magnus (who was probably the highlight of the movie for me). And even though I forget who it was the guy they got to do his voice in TFA was a really good sound-a-like.

I loved Galvatron being batshit insane though. Webworld is my favorite G1 episode and watching Galvatron create a fully functional gun out of pieces of junk was just utterly amazing.

Picked up a loose complete Legacy BMF off FB marketplace last night (left of pic) Seller said the electronics on it were not working (no corrosion in battery compartment so seems that is so) and when I saw it in daylight it has yellowing on the top Already had a semi complete Legacy BMF I got 10 years ago (for REALLY cheap) that has working electronics and no yellowing so swapped parts I needed across to make a whole good one.

Whoa. Always wanted a BMF... one of my greatest toy regrets is not picking one up when they were on clearance for 80 bucks at TRU. I wonder if there is any way to fix the yellowing without doing the soak it in Hydrogen Peroxide and leave it in the sun trick. My Big AT-AT is yellowing on top too and it is kind of too big to soak it in something.
