I so freakin need this.
I bought some ALF DVD's and those episodes are pretty good. Been hunting for ALF merch, but no great figure or doll really exists. I am all in on ALF...Hahahahaha... |

This is a really awesome thing. So out of left field. I remember a year or two ago someone on like ebay or something was selling a 3d printed add on kit for a Star wars black series ewok to turn it into Alf and I was seriously considering it. This is much better though. I know my mom will get a kick out of it. She loves Alf. It sort of makes me wish I bought those retro cloth Golden Girls just for that strange crossover that never happened. Maybe even throw in Bob Ross.

If he's about the size of Chucky, I'm in. If he's tall like the Gremlin line, I'll pass.

NECA should include some ALF pogs with him as a nod to the Simpsons

ALF! Really cool!
Totally unexpected. This would be the first action figure of ALF I believe. I own a PVC figurine and my childhood plush. He'll display great with ET and Gizmo. A must have for me! |

I'm going to buy this, because this will be a collector's item once PETA sees this, the "cat sandwich" accessory will not be included in all future "Ultimate ALF", "ALF with 10 heads", "ALF with one extra accessory" editions that NECA will make.

Will go if he is scaled properly. I am thinking around the size of or a little shorter than Ophelia from 'Pan's Labyrinth' would work for me.

Very keen on this. Share the concern with the scaling so would be interested to see, think 4-4.5" will be good for 1/10 (7-8" scale). Obviously the smaller makes it more challenging.
That being said, it looks very good and oddly enough the way they've been picking up certain IPs. I wonder if they'd take a shot at TV series like Different Strokes, All in the Family, Jeffersons, Family Matters, Saved by the Bell just to name a few. (Though I probably will only get the 1 or 2 characters I liked. Not sure if its been said, but NECA has been doing a bunch of figures from NBC shows. |

Great stuff. Alf is like the unsung hero of my childhood - I loved watching the show when I catched it while changing channels, but never sought it out. It was always there, and I could always enjoy it. Whenever I hear the music or the voices in the background while doing something else nowadays, I have to go watch it.
Watched some clips of it yesterday and damn this show still gets genuine laughs out of me. Not many things can. Bottom line: I want this. Not to keen on NECA QC (or the lack thereof) but if I need to give any figure a warm water bath after opening it, doing it to Alf sounds almost fun. |

ALF and TMNT were my favorite things ever as a lad, so I definitely need to get this.
I'm also echoing what others are saying about the show still holding up for the most part. A lot of jokes flew over my head on first run (not necessarily like... adult ones, just things I didn't get) and it was worth re-watching to catch some of that.
