Finishing 2021 out with a bang thanks to Dorkside getting me my Kessler wolf from NECA. Really wasn't sure if I'd get this before 2022 because of how delayed everything NECA has been this year, I mean I'm still waiting on the station survivor MacReady and the nightmare demon so getting this in now is a surprise. American Werewolf in London has always been one of those movies I wanted to get figure representation but it never really did. Around 5 years ago PCS showed they were going to make the Kessler wolf but that literally went nowhere so it's great that NECA stepped up and delivered. Sculpting a figure that's supposed to be shaggy hairy and features articulation can be a bit tricky but I think NECA pulled it off. The details in sculpt and paint are excellent on mine but I have seen one or two shared via twitter with kinda wonky eyes so that's something to watch out for. The articulation is good and all works well but it is a quadrupedal monster so in that way there are some obvious limitations to what it can do. The only included piece is the alternate head but it swaps easily and holds snug on the neck joint. My only con is that there are no other accessories included. I think including a full victim corpse might have been too much but something like the severed hand he left behind or the inspector's head could have been fit in. Even some severed limbs non-specific to the movie could have served as nice display props. Despite that criticism though the figure itself is the reason I bought this and it's pretty excellent so I'm very happy.

I hope to find that phantom ranger. I always thought he looked similar to charlie sheens character in the wraith.

Honestly given the car nature of the show, the character would fit.

Then again, Time Red has bee lonely for like 2 years now. Love the pinless joints on Phantom, but his legs are a tad loose.

That happened to me with the first Swampy I ordered from Amazon. I returned it for a refund to my Amazon account stating the reason as,"I wanted the regular green version that is shown in your website product description. Not the grey 'Platinum Edition.'" Once my refund cleared I ordered another and received the green version. Did my reason for the return help? Or was it the luck of the draw? Who knows. Just simply describing my experience.

Hell yeah it was. Love that flick. But it was definitely of its time. And if you didn't catch it back then, I don't think you'd have the same appreciation for it today. |

As much as its dated the races ( despite the fact that the intake valves on the scoop on the firechicken minty drove werent functional ) are still entertaining as hell. I always felt there shoulda been a sequel some years later where packard and his gang come back to try and take out jamie and kerry and billy comes in to save him and kerry with rughead as his mechanic/tech guy.

Love the Disney parks Mando set. Hasbro asleep again. Shockingly my Walmart Batman set was not cancelled. $40 bucks for this set had to be a mistake.

Fennec Shand is the new Boba Fett. The cool side character that you actually care more about.

I will always like fett the best. Then mando then cara & cobb as equal thirds. I think they should get katrina law to take over the role of cara since she could easily pass for gina and then get cobb ( with new mandolorian armor ) and zero and zome random new characters as the rangers to round out the show that never will be.
