Dang that looks great. Once again Hasbro really needs to hire the talent here. At least pay attention to whats being done.

Thanks guys. The red fine lines were tedious but he was a lot of fun to make. He's going up on eBay soon if anyone is interested. I'm spiderman037 on eBay.

Awesome job!!! This is one custom I have held off on because I don't think I'd be able to pull it off! Well done and I am jealous!

Yea you know I thought about his webs but his recent appearance in shattered dimensions he didn't have it so I kinda went with it. Looks a little cleaner than having mesh hanging on him. I don't know of a meterial loose enough to really get a good web representation. My wife and i think possibly tadded lace. Any suggestions?

Alright guys. I'm gong to Joan Fabrics to see about the webbing. Since it's for a Spider-Man figure do I still get to keep my man card? I'll let you all know if it looks good or not. I was never really a fan of string hanging off a figure.

Thanks! All testors model masters acrylic. We had to use a lot of thin coats to get that shade of blue. Currently trying several cuts of fabric to get a proper web look. Soon as that's done I'll upload picks then it's off to eBay. We have bills to pay!

Here ya go! What do you guys think? This is the best material we could find that even resembles a web at this scale. I personally prefer it without them but it's starting to grow on me. Either way it's not for me. Enjoy and It'll be going up on eBay soon!

I just turned international bidding on for those of you not in the states. Good luck guys. Hate to see him go but someone will give him a good home with lots of shelf space to roam.

Congrats on the webbing, even though I agree with you. He does look a bit better without the webbing, I found one (Toy Biz) a while back for like $.25 cents and this one doesn't have any webbing but it still looks good. Although the webbing does give him a bit of more authentic!
Good luck on the sell and hope to see more!!! |
