I suppose most Ark vets have already seen this, but plugging it here keeps it convenient, right?

I love the cinematic Iron Spider suit. I'm glad to see it here. If Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their roles as 'variants,' I hope their costumes get jazzed up by the same people who gave us the Iron Spider design.

Not likely to happen but itd be awesome if nicholas hammond spiderman made an appearance but, I think Japanese spiderman could be a lot more likely.

I didn't even watch any of the Andrew Garfield Spider-man movies. LOL. Anyway, No Way Home will be the deciding factor for me to see who had the best Spidey live action trilogy. IMO Spider-man 1 was great and 2 was a masterpiece, but then 3 was just so bad... even though it became kind of a cult classic later on thanks to emo Peter Parker... Tobey Maguire was a great Spider-man/Peter Parker though and of course JK Simmons was legendary as JJJ.

I didn't really like Homecoming, but really loved Far From Home... mostly thanks to Mysterio. And Tom Holland is also a great Spider-man/Peter Parker too.

I agree 100% with all your points above, so hope you benefit from my suggestion not to waste your life on the Andrew Garfield movies. They were just plain cringe awful.

Sorry but I disagree. I'd rather watch the two ASM movies over anything involving Holland's Iron Boy.

^ IMO the MCU definitely had a big impact on how the new movie Spider-man was gonna be and act... they pretty much had to turn him into the hyper kid version of Peter Parker to contrast him against Tony Stark and Captain America and the rest of the Avengers. I mean they couldn't have had a quiet brooding soft spoken Tobey Maguire type Spidey in the current Avengers movies... it just wouldn't work IMO. It will be interesting to see what the next movie Spider-man will be like once they sever themselves from the MCU... I mean... just look how Tom Hardy Venom turned out... and also Jared Leto Morbius.

I like Hardy's Venom and wouldn't know what Leto as Morbius is like since the movie hasn't come out yet. More than likely I'll enjoy it though. Morbius has been a favorite of mine since the Midnight Sons days back in the 90s.

The only thing worthwhile in The Amazing Spider-Man was Stan Lee's cameo.

They made Spider-Man too joyless. Spidey has a tragic origin with Uncle Ben dying but Spidey ain't Batman.

Funny, I do remember thinking Amazing Spiderman 2 was darker than the Dark Knight.

Hoo boy... that leaked No Way Home pic of the three of them. This movie will make a bazillion dollars... and to think Sony didn't even want to finish the MCU trilogy before rebooting Spider-man.

Looks good. But wonder if they mightve crammed too much in the movie. Also it feels like the end battle is going to playout similar to the end battle of endgame.
Also itd be cool to get a proper Rhino this time.

^ Spider-man 3 felt really bloated to me with both Sandman and Venom and Harry as bad guys... I can't even imagine how they are gonna make this one work.

Saw it earlier today and thought it was pretty awesome! Ending up really liking Garfield Spidey despite never being a fan of those 2 films he was in.

^ Felt the same... I thought Andrew Garfield stole the movie... I have never watched any of the Amazing Spider-man movies either... I am just gonna assume he was a decent Peter Parker in those movies.

He was a decent Spidey but a terrible Peter mostly.

Finally got around to watching this. Great movie. I'd love to see a re-release of Hot Toys figures for each of the Spider-men in their original suits. I'm a little surprised that we aren't seeing more mechandise for this one. Imagine a statue of the farewell hug!
