^ I recently bought the Mission Fleet Razor Crest too... that size is good enough for me IMO... just gonna use it with my 3.75" figs. I saw pics on the Rebelscum forums that someone 3D printed his own cockpit that fit the 3.75" Retro Mando and Grogo and replaced the default Mission Fleet cockpit with his own custom one... thing look good IMO... wish I could do that.

It's really not though, this is just the logical conclusion of voting with your dollars after people complained about Hasbro making ABC instead of XYZ. There's not a single thing scummy or unethical about it, you like the product, you pay for it, you get it! You don't like it? Then let it languish and die! If you made a product, wouldn't you rather ask people first and gauge interest rather than invest money and HOPE someone buys it eventually?
Just my opinion, but like they say opinions are like a wholes, everyone?s got one and most of them stink Quote:
I?m happy for you all that get one though |

Paying for a toy on 12/7/21 that may or may not ship in spring of 2023 seems ridiculous and is setting a bad precedent... Just my opinion, but like they say opinions are like a wholes, everyone?s got one and most of them stink Yeah I get that it will be super articulated, I just wish hasbro could find a way to do a mass retail release for a decent price. Fingers crossed this happens down the road, I just can?t justify the crowd funding and waiting that long. I?m happy for you all that get one though Opinion can only go so far when taking account the logistics of production. All these figures take up to a year to get produced. We are so used to a product being announced and available 2-3 months later(or even next day in some cases) but those figures were produced a while ago. These Haslabs are taking a peak behind the curtain. It's getting ready to slaughter the cow to make the ground meat. Well at 31 hours, I don't see this getting funding much less breaking through the tiers barring an influx of retailer totals. But hey who knows. Ha ha I?ve gotten a knock off rolex as a present once that was about that price. Rolex isn?t a publicly traded company and doesn?t crowd fund their watches though. Quote:

Ok see…it’s not just me. Why when I use an apostrophe why does it changes to a question mark on this site?
If I edit it after posted it stays correct. |

I've had this problem on a lot of websites too, especially when they're a few years older.... It's really odd!

FYI: privately held companies can also represent enormous businesses - Bloomberg, Fidelity Investments, Koch Industries, etc. However, I wasn't making a point about Rolex's size. What I was getting at is that HasLabs represent ready-made collector items that immediately accrue in value rather than depreciate; a 'Rolex' of toys. They're intended to be crown jewels of a collection that the consumer has the prerogative to either buy, or not. I was poking fun at the idea that some seem to like the notion of having something distinguished, but want it for bargain costs. Which, of course, is fine, but if it doesn't fund there shouldn't be some expectation that Hasbro has to now make good on a failed/rejected project. ....it's sort of interesting that Hot Toys has carved out a niche for this at which few blink an eye. Meh. |

Closing in on 6,000. 9 and a half hours to go. If anyone was waiting until the last minute…..this is it.
Edit. Just passed 6,000! Last edited by Comedian; 12-06-2021 at 12:38 PM.. |

I'm not a tech guy by any means, but the posters with the odd characters over on the 'tank seem to all be Apple users. Beyond that, I don't have much more info, but at the very least, you can rest assured that the encoding issue is somewhat widespread and not a problem with your device. I've personally only seen the issue here and there, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens at TFW or Toku, as they're likely built on the same platform.
Out of curiosity, do you have an alternative non-Apple device to post with? |

Are you suggesting that a publicly traded company shouldn't be allowed to use a crowdfund because of its size in comparison to a privately held one?

Meh. Hopefully the rancor is worth it. I tend to stay away from the high end collectibles but they do look neat. I love cheap thrills lol |

Well at 28 minutes remaining it needs 1300 to get funded. Unless those are unaccounted for totals, I think this is a fail. Then again I refresh and it's creeping up.
Now I wonder if they might perk up the other two Haslabs if Rancor has people who were interested in the other projects. \ edit Finished at 8515(though it is still updating totals). If there are unaccounted for totals, it might get this funded in the morning, but right now it might be a fail. Feels like an election night.....a decade ago. edit edit But the website has it at 8058(and it's going down to 7682?) and officially labeled not funded. The highest that I saw it at was 8537 when it was past the deadline. Now it’s at 8530 and dropping. People are cancelling.

Dropped to 2700, I think Hasbro is the one cancelling orders and not backers themseleves.
So I guess this is how you kill a Haslab. |

Man, it tried. To everyone that wanted this, I am so sorry. I hope hasbro revisits this someday with more thought. Lucas film and hasbro do not have the pulse of fans.

Same. It really sucks for those who wanted this figure.
It was a terrible campaign, there's no other way to say it. High price, multiple Haslab-projects at the same time, terrible stretchgoals. A better timing, slightly lower price, and Malakili as the first stretchgoal and this could've worked. |
