Another license announcement from Storm. Should fit in nicely with their fighting game stuff, the anime is on Netflix and basically about big corporations doing business by hiring gladiators to fight for them.

I'm going to end up having to drop some other lines for all the Storm stuff (eventually) coming out.

Kengan Ashura is kind of a rip off of Baki the Grappler, but it's also fantastic and I'll gladly buy some figures from it.

I was actually thinking that as I was typing my last post. It'll be hell on my wallet, but I'm sure I'd pick up Baki, his dad, Doppo Orochi, and Hanayama at the least.

I'm not familiar with the license at all. But those characters look tailor made for Storm's figures.

They are on my radar....

Yo I never would’ve expected Kengan figures. Practically tailor made for Storm, lol. Plus, a few characters make for perfect variants. Def wanna get a few.

I look forward to them releasing one or two figures in fours years or so and then completely abandoning the line.

I'm not going to lie, I took this announcement as "Neat, Storm is doing a Tokita Ohma figure" more than "Wow, a Kengan Ashura line from Storm"

I would like to see them do more, Gaolang is who I want the most, but it's Storm so let's just be happy the main character is coming sometime in the next 5 years.

Glad to know I'm not the only one watching the show...Storm is great, but the secondary prices for their figs prevent this fan of their various licenses from getting in late. Regarding their coin-op fighting game stable, I wonder if they'll get to Virtua and its spiritual cousin, Dead Or Alive?

I imagine that Grappler Baki diehards felt that license should have come before Ashura! haha!

On Storm's Instagram the comments section of their Kengan Ashura announcement was absolutely FULL of people ask why not Baki instead. That and people saying "Where is Kenshiro?!?!?!?!"

Well it's good to know that my instincts weren't off the mark on that one.
