You know, I wasn't totally sure about it at first. I wasn't biting my thumb at it quite as uhhhhhh vigorously as a certain specific group of people were, but I had my doubts. But having seen yesterday's trailer, I'm completely on board. I like the show's aesthetic quite a lot.

Always preferred the glamazon look of old, but hey. If the sword tacks on mass, and historically it has, I'm good with it.
Shame that the toys aren't better, though.

I kind of like the trailer myself. Shrugs. I know it's not going to be for a lot of older fans. But the story seems pretty cool and the show is giving off a Thundercats 2011 vibe at times. I'll give at least a few episodes a shot.

Actually I noticed the chins first. MotU men usually have big fat honking Superman or Shazam chins, while females have sharp pointy chins. I would assume from the lack of physical maturity that they are trying to kidefy this the way they did Flash Gordon years ago. It didn't work then either.

As with Flash Gordon, the characters were all adults with adult bodies, even if they did not always act like adults. These characters are obviously meant to be teens. The art reminds me of the Teen Titans cartoon before they ruined it. The problem is that they have already been depicted as adults, a problem the TT did not have to deal with. Long time fans will have a problem with that, while new fans who have not seen the original may not have a problem. The question is: Will there be enough new fans for it.

Because by and large, most "woman" have breasts (seeing as you brought up breasts), on top of the fact that they generally have more rounded jaws, and less broad shoulders, and stop putting words in my mouth, I never said that I'm "worried" about how feminine a kids tv show is, however you are certainly entitled to your own opinions, as am I, so it seems we should just agree to disagree with each other's opinions.

True enough, the problem was coming up with the design first then going back and saying he was 16, then of course She-Ra had to match because they were twins.
