Fix the shoulders and he looks good to me. I pre-ordered. The He-Man movie figures showed me that super7 can nail these ultimates.

They just need a new buck already, something more than vaguely humanoid like this.

It is obvious they made new shoulders just for this, whether it was for artiuculation to make that pose, or someone thought they should be bigger. Either way, the execution here is awful. The sculpt is flat with no muscle stirations, and them being so large not only makes the figure wholly inaccurate to the iconic scene, it looks like a dumpy nugget. I find it impossible if not improbable that the Horsemen sculpted that and thought it was a job well done. That is one of my favorite iconic moments in film, and this is what they think is acceptable for this. I love Motu, Motuc and Conan, and you couldn't pay me to put this in my house.

Am I the only one or do bicep swivel joints always look awful on figures? That gap between the bicep and the deltoid/shoulder just never looks good. If you ask me, I'll take a slight downgrade in articulation in favor of a cleaner looking sculpt any day.

It looks fine when the right pieces are used and set together appropriately. This doesn't look good on any level.

I think this has the same shoulders as the other 2 movie Conans S7 have shown..but for some reason it looks even worse on this particular figure.

This is definitely a rough mock up. Super7 hasn't let me down yet; pre-ordered. *crosses fingers*

Never, I want a bicep swivel on any figure I buy. It's such a big addition to articulation if you want to do anything 2 handed.

The bicep swivels on this look liked they'd be hampered by how over sized his arms are. |

I’ll wait for the finished figures in hand to make my judgement. |

I really want to like these. I typically only buy 4”, but would make exceptions for Conan. But these are just lame to me. Can’t get into the aesthetic. And this one might be the worst of the lot with those absurd proportions

Wow. New pic is awesome. And that box looks like a leather bound book. Bravo.

Man oh man that is rough. I really wish NECA was able to do these.

Those shoulders, lol. Storm Collectibles did a better job for Ax Battler than this.

Was waiting for a more typical ("topless") Conan, we get it and it comes out like this?! Definitely felt proportions were off on the initial wave of Conan Ultimate figures and I think it shows now without armor. Or probably to compensate for the bicep swivel. The deltoids are too big for me, and most of the proportions overall for that matter. A over-juiced up Arnie. Guess I will wait what other companies can do.
Still waiting and looking forward to the Super7 Thundercats line though, holding for reviews though. |

That being said, these figures are a mega disappointing and I will not purchase any of them. I understand why Super7 used the MOTUC bodies, but they just don't work as representations for real-life humans, even ones as massively buff as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sven-Ole Thorsen. Thought the same thing when Super7 revealed their movie He-Man figures. I can't believe the weapons shown in these images are shown to scale because they are gargantuan and totally unrealistic, even for the massively muscular bodies the figures are using. I don't understand why that version of Conan would come with a broken Father's Sword, and Thulsa Doom should have an unbroken Father's Sword, and where's his rad bow and snake arrows? The likenesses on the helmeted versions of Thulsa Doom, Rexor and Thorngrim are just OK...they are almost there, but the unhelmeted heads have really soft sculpts that don't capture the look of their respective actors very well at all, and look a bit cartoony to me.
You mean $45 to $50 (that's what these cost. Durrim aside) |

You haven't seen the figures yet really give e a chance. This is how he looked in the beginning I believe when he was a king or something. Before the journey. At least the main version is coming (assuming these sell)
Do you know those characters for sure? No they don't. These are not MOTU bucks. Different parts. The hips and shoulders give it away no? You mean $45 to $50 (that's what these cost. Durrim aside)

No he wasnt a king in the beginning of the movie. In fact, hes probably the furthest thing from a king at that point. Seems inevitable that S7 will make a King Conan based on the movie's epilogue.

Yeah, I don't really remember the scene where Ah-Nuld looked like a melted butter version of himself with two dislocated shoulders, but mayne that's just me....

The Conan sword looks good. I always loved that sword. I remember being a kid and walking through the mall, there was a knife & cutlery store. They had that sword in the display window and I could almost hear it calling to me. Probably cost a fortune. Lol
