Awesome. Obviously Beebop and Rocksteady are cool, but so are Leatherhead and Rat King, which kind of reminds me of Cad Bane. Prolly cause of the hat.

Can't we fastforward to 2015 or whenever Playmates decides to release the live-action turtles?

I'm so happy to see that Spider-bytes' arm/legs are articulated. I probably would have still got him otherwise, but it's nice to see that you can actually pose his spider limbs.

Why are the villains so small?

Bebop and Rocksteady look awesome. My only complaint is the lack of other important characters like Shredder, Splinter, Casey Jones, April, Foot Soldier, among others. Also, it looks like Bebop has a form of ankle articulation...but Rocksteady doesn't.
I want to be excited for the classics line as it's the only Turtles I'm interested in collecting...but it's annoying that Playmates is moving at a Snail's pace releasing figures for it. I know their main priority is the current show...but come on...the classic line has shown itself to be a success...go ahead and give us some more figures for fuck's sake. I'll buy everything, but maintaining interest is tough at this rate. |

Cool, I only get these if they're on BOGO, these things have gone up in retail to almost $12!

Bummer.
As for the classics I've never seen one in person but when/if they make a Casey Jones I'm hunting that mofo down. Good question I thought it was Stockman. |

Bebop & Rocksteady are definate buys as is Baxter Stockman, Leatherhead, Snakeweed, Newtralizer, and that cockroack guy. Spiderbytes just doesn't do it for me but he's a mutant so we'll see I guess.

Spider-Bytes is gonna be the most out of scale figure in the lot.
Sorta wish they had made him into a special "Monster scaled" box release, along with Leatherhead, and Snakeweed (Or is it Snakevine?) Kinda like Sugarman, from the old Toybiz X-men line.

I know! Leatherhead's so tiny, it's almost depressing. At least it's not as bad of a scale as the original figure, though

And yeah, it's Snakeweed. I'm still going to pick up Spider-bytes though, just cause I dig his design enough to overlook the scale issue. Last edited by Paxtin; 02-10-2013 at 09:48 PM.. |

Uh... I must have missed Shredder and Splinter in stores because I only recall them doing the 4 main turtles.

It does make what I'm seeing clearer - it looked like a headless '90s Cable/Punisher figure at first from what I've seen, you didn't miss much. These should have usable articulation. |

Hold up...BATTLE SHELL figures at a smaller scale? Do they have elbows joints because it's hard to tell...
Also looks like that new Shredder has no elbow joints, yet knee joints...as we feared... WTF why can't he have both elbow AND knee joints?!

im confused about the direction of the Classics line. The 4 original Turtles looked like they were based on the 80's cartoon. This new Bebop and Rocksteady are totally new designs.

The turtles have some cartoon florishes (Like the the badly painted bugged out eyes), but almost everything else about them, down to their expressions were based on the original toys. https://www.expertcomics.com/Blog/wp.../TMNT-Toys.jpg Rocksteady and Bebop are the same. Just, like the turtles, they;re a lot uglier.

A-freaking-men. I can't wait for them to release 6", super articulated movie star turtles. I think a 6" super posable live action Casey Jones figure would be one of the hottest figures ever made. |

I don't watch the show, but like most of you was a die hard on the original series. I have the 4 Classics that are out, and Bebop/Rocksteady are a day 1 buy for me. However, some of these modern figures are starting to look cool... was worried by Fishface/Dogpound, but I like the looks of some of the new villains.
