Inspired by Black Magnus' top ten movie thread. I wanna know what everyones top ten favorite artist or Bands are. It was tough narrowing down for me but here is my list in no order
Nirvana Slipknot Red Hot Chili Peppers Blink-182 Johnny Cash Michael Jackson Aerosmith Social Distortion The Ramones Rise Against Last edited by Fortune; 11-02-2011 at 01:44 PM.. |

Cool idea bro.
My list is gonna be all over the place, I've learned to have a broad taste in music as there is so much out there to enjoy if you just open up yourself to it. Again, no order here. 1. Creedence Clearwater Revivial 2. Michael Jackson 3. Rolling Stones 4. AC/DC 5. Metallica 6. NWA 7. Korn 8. Kenny Chesney 9. Eminem 10. Pink Floyd Honorable mentions: Ozzy Ozbourne/Black Sabbath, Santana, Deftones, POD, Jay Z, Phil Collins/Genesis, Rascal Flatts, Sepultura, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Darius Rucker. I have my lady to thank for all of the country music lol. I told ya my list was out there and I KNOW I'm forgetting plenty, music has had just as much of an influence as movies and the collection is just as expansive. |

My tast in music changes with the times, so it would be hard to pick a top ten, but I'll try.
Fleet Foxes Johny Cash Ozzy Leonard Cohen Guns n Roses Steve Miller Band Motorhead Elvis Weird Al Pearl Jam

Another list that is hard to narrow down. In no particular order and going to mix a little of everything in, also added 2 more for a list of 12.
Pearl Jam Bob Marley and The Wailers Red Hot Chili Peppers System Of A Down Rage Against The Machine Ray LaMontagne Tupac Stone Temple Pilots Soundgarden AudioSlave The Roots ColdPlay

10. Selena Gomez and The Scene
9. Miku-Tan 8. Maximum the Hormone 7. Linkin Park 6. Cletus T. Judd 5. Disturbed 4. Slipknot 3. AC/DC 2. The Who 1. Within Temptation Every other band I can think of only has a handful of songs I really enjoy, like Cobra Starship only has Aww Dip that's just my personal Anthem. Since this is top ten bands, and not top 10 songs, I chose the bands that have had the most I've liked ratio per album. Which for some worked in their favors as they don't have many albums to compare and have a generous amount of awesome songs, and others it worked against them as they have tons of albums but only like 4 epicly awesome songs in total I like. Miku-Tan got off lucky, she has 0 albums, but every song she's released on youtube has been an instant love and added to my zune favorites playlist. |

I'm not sure how but, I completely forgot about the Beastie Boys. They belong on my list and I've been kicking my self for being so scatterbrained when assembling my list lol.
