Guess I missed drama. I'll just add as someone who lived through it, toys really were everywhere in the 80s...tru,kb,department stores, drug stores, mom & pop shops, the department store catalogs were still a big deal and carried a ton of stuff.
90s I'd add comic book stores, comic cons and video game stores to that. But as good as it was back then, I'd still easily take now over the 80s and 90s. Everything is available to us, for a price. |

I know. My wife works between 5 hospitals and I had to become a teacher to a kindergartener on the spot….he’s now in second grade.
I have no answers, all I can say is this….you are not alone. So many are drained in ways we won’t even see for decades. That’s why I love toys and movies. They take me away. Little victories….sometimes a good cup of coffee is that victory. Again, I know it doesn’t seem like much, but the forum members here give me a little bit of stability. I’ve seen your name since the Matty days and so many others. Just reading comments and seeing pics from everyone’s collections can give that extra push. |

Where is the best place to see your current collection Comedian? I was there at the Matty boards, not very active, but Matty and GBFans were a regular hang out of mine. |

As an anti-social hermit, I've been ok with Covid. It got me out of having to see family for holidays and such.

Not yet that I've seen. I suspect it will depend on when those companies knew they weren't going. Those that were skipping already, or cancelled their plans a while ago probably didn't have plans to show anything anyway. While those that announced plans to attend, or were committed until it was cancelled will have a better chance of putting together something to share the news/reveals that would have taken place that weekend.

Damn, another set back, this is rough. All that has been said is really all that's needed. I got nothing new. I just want to see some Turtles revealed and I'll be satisfied.
