Hi there, I'm new to this group but am hoping someone can tell me whether this doll I have is collectible? At the moment it's still in it's packaging and is a small posable Jessie doll (from Toy Story 2/3) but the box is labelled as "bullseye" not Jessie. Is this actually collectible and worth money or should I not be a mean mother and let my daughter play with it? Happy to post a pic if that will help?
Thanks! |

Ok, I checked out e-bay, the Bullseye figure is listed mostly in the 20 or so range, Jessie's often listed for less than that, not many bids on anything in this line, if you're looking for collectability, my guess is these characters are kind of over produced for the market, and that hurts the aftermarket price. she is (compared to most Disney characters) fairly obscure, so I doubt a lot of people have specific "Jessie collections" going, and the fact that she's an error (wrong card) actually might hurt your cause, as most mint on card collectors want pristine examples of the product they collect, and a lot of serious collectors won't even buy an error. there are some people that collect errors, but contrary to popular belief, unless it's a wide spread or well known error (like the GI joes with the Barbie voice chip) it actually drives the price down more often than not. Sorry, I don't think This ones going to put your daughter through college, but she could have fun playing with it.

Ah great, you're a star!!! So many things in there that I didn't know (eg. I always thought an error automatically made an item more valuable!).
So nobody else comment on this - I'm opening it now so that she can actually play with her present :-) |
