I don't know the specifics, but I'd assume the bulk of him on top of extra height has to do with it. He's much wider, beefier than human scale 1:4. And basically solid plastic. I'm guessing weight has more to do with it than height.

Yeah I'd have to say he costs more than twice as much as usual 1/4 scale figures because of overall mass not just height. Images of him next to the others really show how much bigger he is. Having said that his price is pretty extreme even if it can be justified.

Not sure $240? Sounds crazy
Marvel select Juggernaut now $25 and that thing is heavy marvel select hulk movie is the same price, it's not heavy though If it really is that high that is crazy. Neca does an awesome job with their other lines like Aliens, Predator, Pacific Rim, Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm and I like how they make toys, even their Ultimate Kratos for $25 was awesome value. I'd probably pay $70-80 for it but oh well |

Kratos is NECA 7 inch scale, and Hulk is Hasbro Marvel Legends 6 inch scale, but bigger than normal since he's Hulk. He's almost Build a Figure size for ML. |

Yeah, not sure if you meant it was in same scale or not, but just for reference to anyone not sure, here's a comparison pic.
Kratos is NECA 7 inch scale, and Hulk is Hasbro Marvel Legends 6 inch scale, but bigger than normal since he's Hulk. He's almost Build a Figure size for ML. Not in the dirty way.

Stunning figure but I personally prefer Hulk to have a simpler look whatever the medium.

Thanks for the scale figure, the picture says it all!
I've seen on this website those types of pictures with 3.75 marvel figures so the Hulk didn't look special to me, with the other figures I see the figure is quite massive lol Anybody have $240 I could have? |

The pic makes me want them to do a grey Hulk. Perhaps for a convention as an exclusive

It drives me crazy because I really wanted this figure as a base for a custom and the price is just too high. I keep looking at it though. Who knows, maybe some place will do a 1/2 off sale on it someday.

Some of the reviews stated that he was pretty hollow
