ToyWiz.com has a pre-order for NEDRY, Wayne Knight, Jurassic Park Amber Collection.
ToyWiz is a reputable site. Do they know something about ToyFAIR 2020? |

Oh cool, they don't have any pics up but I'd heard he was going to be part of the line. Kind of an odd second JP figure. Malcom makes sense but Nedry #2?

ToyWiz is ABSOLUTELY NOT a reputable site. It's run by a bunch of scalpers that pick the surrounding area clean of toys in addtion to what they order from toymakers, so they can limit supply and charge whatever they want for toys.

Exactly. Not to mention the shadiness with Toyfare exclusives back in the day. Im always amused whenever I come across their listings at ridiculous prices on the Target and Walmart sites, f those guys.

I still get flashbacks to the World Of Springfield Pin-Pal Burns figure that was a Toyfare exclusive, so many people turned in the rebate to get their figure and were denied, but SOMEHOW ToyWiz has several hundred extra on-hand to sell (for a ludicrous markup, naturally!)

The toyfair shit sounds shady. I haven't heard about that stuff. Can I look that up??? XD I love knowing about that stuff. I'll definitely won't rush to pre-order Nedry after hearing what you guys said. I was tempted bad. Don't get me started on Geoff Beckett and GBJR toys....more lost pre-order money.... |

LOL to everyone, I was trying my hardest to mention the scalping and ridiculous prices at length. That doesn't necessarily make them not reputable. Maybe my vocab needs work.

As far as the Toyfare stuff, pretty much what black arbor posted. Instances of them getting Toyfare exclusives before anyone else and selling them at jacked up prices. Meanwhile, people being told they were out of stock. All stemming from the fact that the owner of Toywiz is brothers with the guy who owned Toyfare magazine. |

TOTALLY....I want Nedry more than any of them. NEWMAN!! But yeah that's totally a character that would come last. The best for last! Or, maybe in some corporate shithead room, I could see them qualifying it last...rrr....Either way, they finally show it a toy show after years and years and then it neverrrrr comes out. And I'd be forever pissed about it.

Michael Crawford's Review of the Week Here's two articles written about the subject by a great reviewer, I even forgot ToyWiz tried to do "bundling" (putting the desired product in a group with some stuff they couldn't get rid of normally and jacking up the price!)

Wow! There were articles! I thought that was such a long shot. There was so much detailed information too. So awesome man.
That Wizard entertainment group seemed like the ''Pin heads" of this whole operation. Then they get ToyWiz wrapped up in the douchery. Like Hey ToyWiz want to do douchey stuff? Oh sure! price mark ups is our deal lol. "They’ve included this disclaimer at their on-line store “Wizard will gladly cancel an order, if it has not yet been charged, or refund and cancel an order, if it has been charged for anyone who leaves negative feedback to express concern over any of the Simpsons offers or any other purchase.”" That just sounds douchey. What company says that? What's really amazing though, with all the douchey stuff going on, they never seem to do anything necessarily illegal to my knowledge. BUT, they know every single douche trick in the book. Wizard is a pricing guide, hmmm, makes sense. Here is a Geoff Beckett article from 2018 if you guys haven't heard about him. It's another rare article that is very detailed...the guy who wrote it all up is my hero, having been a victim myself... https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/05...coming-return/ |
