I had no idea how brittle the guns are. I opened my Rick and Morgan figures, and Morgan's rifle barrel broke as I was prying the tape off!

Yah. Disappointing, especially considering how much I paid. Not buying any more unless/until that gets addressed.
One thing about Hasbro stuff: I've never had anything break. |

Bought mine at BBTS, not expecting the figures to appear in very large numbers at local brick-and-mortar retailers. The cost for shipping alone is equal to the retail price in Canbucks.
Serves me right for buying small stuff online. Lesson learned! |

This was one of the reasons I got out of the line and ended up selling off my collection. This has never happened with any of my halo figures, yet my TWD figures almost always had some sort of issue right out of the packaging. I had to handle it with such care in some cases, that I felt like I was handling brittle dinosaur bones in limestone...

The figure itself is fine. It really looks like Morgan IMO, better than the one that somebody reviewed here a little while ago. The paint is great. He still looks good holding his little 'bo staff.' For firefights, I guess he'll just have to borrow an E-11 blaster from one of his stormtrooper shelf-mates. Last edited by Skoob; 12-18-2015 at 08:06 PM.. |
