Almost all Wal-Marts have been getting a pallet floor display for the new movie that has every movie figure in it on one side and on the other side has been cartoon TMNT figures with Newtralizer, Rahzah and Slash in it.

Thanks Phantom. I have two Walmart stores that I have been checking every few days but no sign of them yet. I am not sure if being on the east coast makes it slower for them to come out of if the stores local to me are just not very good.
I almost feel sad walking into my local walmart and kmart. The toy isles are always a disaster with stuff thrown on the floors or bottom shelves. It really looks like they never bother to fix it up. Also none of the local stores ever had any marvel universe figures. The thing that always shocked me most was stopping in at the walmart every week for a month and seeing entire shelves completely empty in the toy isle. There was a two month period recently where they did not have a single TMNT figure. I am not sure if my local stores are just really bad or if this is just the way collecting figures is. |

You might not have seen any of the movie figs yet as the street date for them is actually listed for release in July. My local TRU nearly refused to sell me the new Turtle Van the other day due to the street date embargo (which they thankfully ignored and sold to me anyways.) Like the Transformers release last month though, many retailers however have been given permission to sell, and are rolling them out early. It could be as simple as your local Walmarts haven't gotten the message.
All in all, like people said before me, remain patient. Playmates is actually a company that does it right when it comes to distribution. Most of their figures are initially rare at launch (Shredder and Casey Jones come to mind,) but become more readily available and easy to find as time goes on. |

Hello,
Thanks everyone for the help. I am a little OCD when it comes to collecting but I will take every ones advice and give it more time. I will check again next weekend and hopefully be in luck. Also if anyone is interested in buying and of the figures on my list, aside from the playsets and victor, nick fury, I am only looking for 5.00 or so per figure. Most I just got as extras in group deals and I want to clear out space. I would also consider other animated series toys. I have almost all the basic spider-man set, looking for more of the mini series. |

Good luck finding the TMNT, still none in my area here in Boston either. I feel like my local stores are what yours must be like. It bums me out checking the aisles because I know they will be last in the country to get them in. If I find more then one and you still need them, I will grab em
