I know there are tons of Wolverine figures in MU but I'm finding it hard to pick one that looks/is awesome enough for my collection... that's why I still don't have one... this needs changing though!

The Astonishing Wolvie that came with a cheap Colossus from the X-Men Origins like was my favorite. Since he didn't have a masked head I used the classic yellow/blue Wolverine head. I'm glad MU is re-releasing one since my broke a while back.

the new astonishing wolvie, like snake said, is coming out later this year or early next year. Its, for me, going to be the main wolvie being displayed on the shelf. But if you like classic wolverine costumes, the brown and tan from the sabertooth 2 pack is perfect. They shortened him to a more correct height, and the blades look great. i didnt like patch too much, mostly cause of the face, i bought the pack only for silver samurai anyways. I didnt like most of the wolvies in the XMO's line either.

So this one you've all rated is the one where he's not got a mask on but is still wearing a yellow/blue costume yes? I think that's the one I saw in a comic advertisement for the line and I actually wanted that one.

Definitely the upcoming Astonishing Wolverine, as others have said. Although, I gotta admit... the one from the X-Force 3 pack (which I believe is the same mold) looks nice as well.
But yeah, Astonishing will be the "main" Wolverine featured on my shelf whenever I get it. |

Okay, okay, so, Astonishing Wolverine, like everyone said, he'll be the go-to Wolverine with his modern costume and all. He's just a repaint of the X-Force 3-pack figure, (that's the old XMO 2-pack fig) which is great anyhow, as that's his current X-Force costume. And it's not exactly the same as the other common short Wolvies, this one this one's got burlier and better arms. But that's just your main (current) Wolvie, for classic tiger stripe(blue and yellow), you'd want to go with the one from the Giant-Size X-Men box. (He also comes with the sentinel.) And for brown and gold, as was already said, get the Wolverine and Sabretooth 2-pack figure. The smaller scale really fits better with the rest of the MU. Just trying to be comprehensive! Enjoy!

Does anyone care for the Brown suit one that came with the Human Torch Secret wars pack?

I kind of like the open hands. It's fisty enough and IF I want, I can arm him with the Muramasa blade or an AK-47. I like options.

Yup, that's actually my current favorite. Although it irks me that they eventually came out with a shorter version for the Sabretooth pack. That's really the only problem I have with it; he towers over some of the other MU figures. The XMO Astonishing Cyclops, for example...

They're pretty much all the same figure with either a different dead or suit colors. The "new" one that's coming up is just the X-Force version, which has the "smaller ears" mask, in Astonishing colors. I personally like the brown suit Wolvie from the comic pack, but that's just a childhood preference for me.

I sadly have more wolverines than I know what to do with, But I happen to like the brown and yellow one from the XMO line. The look on his face is priceless.

I have that one too (go figure). I missed out on the XMO Sabretooth, so got the comic pack and just went with that Wolvie because I like that he has boxer briefs on instead of briefs. hahaha

I'm going to use the upcoming Astonishing Wolverine as my main Wolvie, but I like the one that came with the X-Men box set. I also like the "1st appearance Wolverine" for some reason...
