The New Suicide Squad movie was solid. I liked it a lot better than the last couple of DC movies that were released. It had a couple of parts that made me groan, but overall I enjoyed it. I'd also say this is definitely Margot Robbie's best portrayal of Harley Quinn so far. I look forward to the Peacemaker show, Cena was definitely a highlight of the movie.

I hated The Suicide Squad, it was really upsetting to watch for me. It's ranked last on my DCEU rankings. I hate that Peacemaker is getting a spinoff.

OMG. The Snake Eyes movie was horrible IMO... I mean it was a competently made movie, but it was just so boring. Watching it made me realize that unless SE is wearing his ninja commando armor and looks cool... I have no interest in SE. Samara Weaving as Scarlett was great though... she reminds me like if Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise had a biological daughter... it would look exactly like Samara Weaving. I can't believe Rise of Cobra is still the best G.I. Joe movie after all this time.

Alien 3 . 5/10

I really dig the original, and while "Aliens" is more of an action film, I enjoy it. But, Alien 3 seems like that type of film that says, hey, we got these iconic characters, how can we make more money knowing that people are going to pay to see it. It feels like it wasn't thought out, and if it was . . . it was not executed right. But, it's part of the first four and stars Sigourney.

That's one of my least favorite movies ever^

I saw Free Guy. Was kind of talked into it, didn't really want to see it. Went in expecting shallow trash and walked out touched by a movie with some deep meaning.

That's a common thing with movies that get stuck in "development hell", like Superman Returns and Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I guess there's exceptions, like the first Spider-Man movie.

The Sony Spider-Man movie wasn't in development hell. The 80s Cannon and 90s James Cameron attempts were all seperate productions, nothing carried over except the obvious aspects of the Spider-Man mythos.

Shang Chi. Great movie. Great pathos. Much needed breath of fresh air.

Just watched the Netflix documentary Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed. Man... Bob Ross really messed up making his half-brother the majority owner of his estate or whatever it is called before he died... he made his half-brother 51% owner and his son 49% owner in his will. Then his half-brother goes and signs away the Bob Ross name and IP and anything Bob Ross painted to Bob Ross's old business partners who were trying to get Bob Ross to sign away his name while he was dying from cancer. Now his son doesn't even get any money from all the millions Bob Ross Inc, makes every year and can't even use his own last name to do anything.

Venom 2. Mostly great but a few things I took issue with. Great pathos though for the villain.

Sorry To Bother You. I went in expecting some kind of weird sci-fi film set in the hood. But what I got was.....different and too weird for me. I made it about halfway with a friend and then we went for a walk and never finished it.

I thought Venom 2 was absolute garbage...one of the worst movies I've seen in a while lol. The only positive thing I can say is that the casuals I was watching it with werent aware that the character is tied in with Spiderman in the comics. So it was cool seeing their minds blown at the mid credit scene lol

Eternals. Meh.

Last 40 minutes or so I was kind of antsy for it to be over.

Never played League of Legends, but the animated series Arcane from Netflix is pretty awesome.

Shockingly... I did not hate the live action Cowboy Bebop. I actually thought the casting turned out great... the guy who played Jet was perfect... the girl who played Faye really grows on you... and most surprisingly John Cho as Spike was totally on point. Ein was the best though and Ed... yah... live action Ed sure was something. LOL. The problem though was the stories... even though the cast was good the stories didn't really translate as well to live action IMO.

Oh... and just have to say... Arcane on Netflix is the best animated show I have ever watched... great story... great setting... great characters... although Jinx seemed like a ripoff of Harley Quinn. Never thought I would see animated cinematics that were better than Overwatch... but Arcane blows Overwatch away IMO.

LOL. The live action Cowboy Bebop was cancelled after 1 season. At least Arcane was renewed for Season 2 though.

The Batman

I went to one of the fan IMAX screenings tonight (Tuesday). I thought it was fantastic. The cast, the costumes, the settings, the tone, the story; all of it was amazing and well done. I'm definitely going back to see it again.

The Batman. It was a bit too long and the mispronunciation of Falcone's last name, Bruce not living in the manor again, and a few other things bothered me but it was mostly pretty good. I loved the narration. And it was cool to see The Riddler done justice. I'm exciting for sequel projects.

Went to my brother's for dinner last weekend and we watched Die Hard. We had actually planned on putting in Johnny Dangerously (one of Keaton's best), but considering what's going down with Willis, we decided Die Hard was more fitting. Would you believe, until this last Christmas, my brother had not seen it?

As for what I think about it? What more is there to say? It's DIE HARD! THE action movie. It didn't event the genre, or the tropes, but it perfected them.

Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers

Really enjoyed it. This definitely feels like a movie that is aimed at people who grew up in the 90s rather than kids of today.

I watched Morbius last night and had a good time. It's VERY clear that in the two years from the early trailers to the actual release of the movie some stuff was obviously reshot or just cut out completely but it didn't ruin the movie for me like I thought it would.

My only real concern is that everybody's negative view just from the movie's announcement doesn't keep the character from potentially joining the MCU in a Midnight Sons movie if they ever decide to make one. It wouldn't be the same without him on the team.

One of the unexpected bonuses of Disney buying Star Wars and Lucasfilm...

...more Willow! I loved Willow... mostly because of Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley though.

Funny, I thought Snake-Eyes was an awesome movie. Granted, it's not the G.I. Joe movie I want to see someday, but as a stand alone film it's friggin awesome. It seriously has all the stuff I go to see movies for!

And I gotta tell ya, while you know what movies are lacking nowadays, you never REALLY realize how much you missed it till one of these underappreciated gems comes out. Just wish I'd gotten to see it on the big screen.
