G.I. Joe Classified Rock N Roll. This line is so damn good, and second half 2023 is an absolute onslaught of releases. I have about 100 figures to dig into, but here’s a shot of Rock N Roll being a boss! Diorama courtesy of Big Bad Toy Store.
Bandai Tamashii Nations Meisho Movie Realization Star Wars The Mandalorian and Grogu, Tamashii Nations Store NYC exclusive Yojinbo edition. Little more rust in the weathering. Soft goods cape. Extra weapons, satchel, etc. The characters are heavily inspired by Lone Wolf and Cub manga, movies, tv shows from Japan, and this version also plays on the Yojimbo movie that Fistful of Dollars ripped off. I played on that movie look with the stark (almost) black and white. Full set here.
McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Batman 89 & Batmobile, Amazon Exclusive (#ad). Much better than the first release – matte paint, better suit. Head on the first release was better though, closer to Keaton. I also think firmpulse’s paint job was better, but this is solid for a mass produced release.

Diamond Select Toys John Wick Select. Background dio by Extreme-Sets.com. Great fig and release, but just a little too big to scale with most other figs. I still rock him on the general assembly shelf tho.
SDCC 2023 Event Exclusive Ghost Goku and SS2 Gohan set. This is a focus stacked pic, about 13 images combined into one. Still learning how to do this properly so it’s not perfect, but getting there. Trying to be sharp and crisp from energy beam tip in front all the way back to Goku’s back foot. Check out the full gallery here.
S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan Goku Super Warrior Awakening Version, from the Tamashii Nations 15th Anniversary World Tour 2023. This was one of my favorite pieces, and the upgrades in paint and hair here make it that much better.
