Well, that bit about "fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate" was pretty spot on. And he was also the one that told Qui Gon AND Obi Wan that it was a bad idea to train Anakin.

But he was also the one that told Anakin to just let whatever happens happen to Amidala and he told Luke that rescuing his friends would "destroy all they had fought for"...which was utter crap since Luke kept Vader bust while Lando got the others out- the same Lando taht destroyed the second Death Star.
Luke probabably went back to Dagobah and said "Man, you were so fucking wrong! No wonder my dad killed all those kids you were supposed to perotect! Still, I feel he's a good guy, deep down. Yes, really!"

This deserves it's own thread. Seriously. So many amazing debates we could have!

Hahaha made me giggle. Today at work my buddy had a HUGE "What if" talk. Took up 3 hours of our shift. Shit was crazy. I'll share in the proper thread though.

Peter Scolari is in the previews for a new HBO comedy, the previews for which look funny.

Has Adam Warlock/Thanos been released? I have seen DD/Bullseye and Quicksilver/Wonder Man around, but no Warlock. Was wondering if anyone has seen these yet.

Still no official word from Hasbro about these comic packs, but I'm pretty confident they were pushed back due to the Avengers. The deluxe toys are packaged the same way as the comic packs (unlike the last three movie lines).

Also, I'm just now starting to see the MU comic packs make a comeback at Walmart and Target around here. Both have the BE/DD and QS/WM packs in abundance now. Too bad I'm low on funds this week, otherwise I would have snagged them both.

...hey, another post for the "Look what I passed on" thread. Oh, wait. No pics because my phone was in the car charging at the time. Damn.

Start it up. I'd participate.

SW needs more love on here anyway. Make sure to use the tag system.

Good for him. Glad he's [potentially] getting a new series. The sad thing is my first introduction to Peter was on Bosom Buddies (which I thought was hilarious as a kid), so maybe I'm not the best judge of his acting skills.

Just a thought: perhaps this set was changed due to the recent events in the Secret Avengers series....

Idk if anyone else has seen this, but I found this video early last week and its so hilarious/awesome. Granted, I don't necessarily agree with the whole Padme & Obi-wan angle but the other ideas he has are pretty good.

That never stopped them before on any figures.
Besides, so long as the issue included still has them alive it doesn't matter.
I'm wondering if it might have to do with the targeted audience of the issue, but that never stopped them before with the GBPs, so I doubt that's it too.
Mostly I'm hoping it's because they are updating the figure bucks though. Kind of redundant to have MK as a straight up repack, though I guess it makes sense to push him with a figure people want while prepping a 3rd MK for later using the new buck. That way they trick you into buying 3 MKs. (Original, Repack, and then new buck.)

Yeah Antman got his head kicked to pieces in issue 23. I havent seen Moon Knight in quite a few issues, if he is even on the team still.

I really want that Ant Man, so I hope this isn't cancelled. Or at least put him out on a single card

I'm pretty certain they wouldn't waste the headsculpt and not produce him, I personally would prefer a single card release.

Hasbro has shown and then cancelled so many good figures recently. I really wouldn't put it past them at all...

They've never cancelled an announced figure though- only a couple of variants.

I'm always right- about everything!

I'm not thrilled with that Ant Man anyway- and I already have three Ant Man figures- the one that came with Yellowjacket, the smaller one from the Avengers box set and (best of three) a Heroclix Ant man jumping in a cool action pose.

PLus...those holes in the helmet where antenna should be...that looks like crap.

I already customized all the Moon Knight I'm likely to ever need, so why blow $15-20 for a halfassed Ant Man?
