was the Ant-Man/Moon Knight 2pack cancelled

At NY Comic Con in October they still had on display the Ant-Man/Moon Knight Greatest Battles Comic Pack in the Marvel Universe Line but it was not at Toy Fair and is absent from a lot of online checklists.... Was it cancelled?

behindthemask 02-26-2012 09:05 PM

I hope not, it's actually 1 of the only 2packs where both figures are worth buying!

The dark side clouds everything my friend

Peteparker 02-26-2012 09:38 PM

No official word one way or the other yet.

Jason Abbadon 02-27-2012 03:31 AM

Does it really matter that much? I wan Ant-Man too, but if not in a comic pack (with a repainted MK) then we'll get him somewhere else- carded maybe.

boombatty 02-27-2012 06:35 AM

Wouldn't it be nice if they simply pushed it back so that they could swap out the body with the new Bullseye (& DD) buck for the Moonknight?

No official word from Hasbro on the matter. So until I hear different from them, it will remain on our checklist.

warmachine6 02-27-2012 10:37 AM

i dont think so just later realse date possibly im worrined myself with the movie marvel legends of the avengers 6inch versions

Peteparker 02-27-2012 11:18 AM

They probably just pushed it out to release more main Avengers guys related stuff first. Gotta have the pegs full of Iron Man, Cap, Thor and Hulk while the movie is gearing up, in theaters, and breaking down. Probably even during the DVD release.

BAH! Only I can do that!
Besides, you'd need a new head- useing the larger Rogers buck only makes the too-tiny head all the more comical.

xanthax 02-27-2012 12:46 PM

I'm guessing probably just pushed back.

I think using the Scarlet Spiderman mold would be better. I think.

Travis King 02-27-2012 01:01 PM

I hope it doesn't actually get cancelled. Yellow jacket was a cool single carded fig, but I still want a full 3.75 Hank Pym. Any figures with more articulation on the neck and torso like we re seeing on the new DD and Bullseye will be killer

Exodus 02-27-2012 01:25 PM

Has a MU figure ever cancelled before? Probably just pushed back is all or released later during the year.

if they are, I can tell you why theyve been cancelled.

2 words. they start with an M, and an L

NerfTW 02-27-2012 10:03 PM

I'm pretty sure that it was just bumped for the repack/repaint comic wave. We didn't see the Mandarin/Iron Man and Hulk/Wolverine at Comic Con. It's quite likely that it was bumped for an easy repaint wave with no new tooling.

Not that it matters..but I am guessing the Antman they have/had planned isn't Pym. But we can pretend it is! Example;(My hawkeye in my Avengers display is Dark Hawkeye.... I haven't been able to bring myself to open the hawkeye 2 pack)

I wish....I WISH!!!!!

Moon knight needs a new body, if you're not right, which given hasbro's track record, you may be. I'll continue with my plan of swapping FF spidey's body with his. Some nail polish, a bit of sanding and sculpting on his head, and done.

Of course if you ARE right.....Well I'd love it if you were right.

Travis King 02-28-2012 10:23 AM

I wouldn't open the hawk eye pile driver comic pack. It's too rare. I bought a serverly damaged package one like a year and a half ago and opened it thinking I ll find a MOC one, I am still missing that 2 pack from secret wars now, but I have an open reg and dark hawkeye.
