Yeah, I just read issue #14 today and it was AWESOME. The first arc is still the best though, IMO.

Yeah but the title of the thread kinda implies that theres gonna be spoilers in it. Archangel ascending to the heir of Apocalypse is pretty much the biggest deal of this arc yet.

In the issue that this the topic of this thread they just returned from the AoA to find Warren's Archangel persona fully ascended.

p.s you know how Nightcrawler died? You know how that blows hardcore because Nightcrawler rules? Well they're doing the next best thing to bringing him back. The AoA Nightcrawler is going to be joining Uncanny x-force after schism. This way we get a more ruthless Nightcrawler with less morals and the mainstream Nightcrawlers death is still meaningful.

Check this out.
I actually never heard Nightcrawler got killed off, heard about Human Torche, but not him. I love the guy, check out the pics I just posted in the Marvel Universe/3.75" Appreciation Thread. I'm showing nightcrawler some love, and thinking of picking up the movie 12'' version as well.

I would also love to see Thor in his space armor from the recent Matt Fraction and Olivier Coipel book, The Mighty Thor #4

Anything with Matt Fraction's name on it I hate. He's ruining the Iron man books for me

But I think that Archangel is badass.. love the wing cape!

I dig Fraction most of the time, but Fear Itself and his previous Thor story, "The World Eaters" have been pretty bad. Slow burn with a horrible payoff. On the other hand, I have been enjoying his run on Invincible Iron Man since it started, and the new Thor arc is good.

To each their own I guess. It would appear the vast majority seem to like this new suit, myself included. And this series is getting rave reviews. I've read "Apocalypse Solution" and "Deathlok Nation" and both were great.

If you ever find the time to read the previous X-Force books prior to uncanny (the one with Warpath and X-23) you will see the battle Warren fights in a futile attempt at keeping Archangel in check. This story is definitely going in the right direction for an X-Men fan.

Not digging his costume though- looks too "Future Foundation" with all that white.
That's a pretty lame teaser poster- obviously Psylocke, Deadpool and Phanomex are the others- and they're already on the team!

Wish they'd bring back Elixer though.

I haven't read a comic in almost 20 years I think... but I find this development quite intriguing (even though I don't really know what is going on because I don't even really remember who Apocalypse was to begin with). LOL. Archangel is my second favorite super hero of all-time (Magneto is number 1).

Instead of being reincarnated to his usual self he was reincarnated as a young child with no prior knowledge of his destiny and what he might become other than what his insane followers had told him. X-force went in to kill him and when they found out he was an innocent child they brought up the notion of taking him home and raising him to be something better. Well before any of them could blink Fantomex put one in the kid's head. Here's the kicker at the end of the issue it's revealed that he took the kid's body and put into a stasis chamber.

So more than likely I'd venture to say Fantomex used his misdirection abilities on his teammates to trick them into thinking he murdered him when he really took the kid and put him in stasis until he can find out what to do with him. it hasn't been revealed yet but I'd put all my chips that this is what happened.

damn, thanks for the info man,I might check this story arc out.

Thanks to ned1701, I was able to get a double of a nightcrawler figure. I'll be doing an x force aoa nightcrawler soon. I also saw that magneto might be involved in this story. Fingers crossed for an x force magneto.

It figures that I got rid of a second Nightcrawler. That would have been a cool custom.
