Archangel = the new Apocalypse
 

Uncanny x force 14 came out yesterday and guess what? archangel is the new apocalypse. His outfit looks great. Hasbro should make a figure of him. Who agrees?

Archangel vs Fantomex would be awesome. I wouldn't mind the four horsemen either, they look pretty neat.

I hope he doesn't stay evil though, i really like Archangel. Uncanny X-Force is the best marvel title for sure at the moment.

Archangel is badass in any incarnation. Him as Apocalypse is a cool turn of events.

Actually he isn't the new apocalypse. Fantomex shot the child apocalypse in the head and put his body in a stasis tube within the "world". All of this lead up to him becoming the heir of Apocalypse.
As we all know apocalypse made him one of his horsemen and ever since then the Archangel persona has been deep inside him. As of late it's been popping up more and more often. When he joined X-Force and kept killing and using his Archangel persona it only strengthened the Archangel to the point where Archangel became the dominant identity. He's just the heir to apocalypse' throne. In the issue he even states that he's going to be a much different ruler than his predecessor.

He's pretty fucking amazing to look at right? Here's the coolest part instead of his wings shrinking into his back or into just being there except folded up and shit he let's them draped across his back like a cape giving him a more sinister royal look just like the heir of apocalypse should look.

Look how amazing he look's now that his wings also double as a cape. To me it really signifies that the "angel" is gone and he has become something much more. Much more FUCKING EVIL AND FUCKING AWESOME PLEASE MAKE ME A GOD DAMN TWO-PACK WITH HIM AND FANTOMEX RIGHT NAO HASBRO NAO I SAY NAOOOOOO

I have to admit, that is pretty freaking cool. Time to get my creative juices flowing and churn out a custom of one of these.

Fantomex recently incapacitated the "real" apoc. Usually everytime Apoc dies he's reincarnated. This case was no different. He was reincarnated and X-force took it upon themselves to eliminate him except this time it was somewhat different. Instead of being reincarnated to his usual self he was reincarnated as a young child with no prior knowledge of his destiny and what he might become other than what his insane followers had told him. X-force went in to kill him and when they found out he was an innocent child they brought up the notion of taking him home and raising him to be something better. Well before any of them could blink Fantomex put one in the kid's head. Here's the kicker at the end of the issue it's revealed that he took the kid's body and put into a stasis chamber.

So more than likely I'd venture to say Fantomex used his misdirection abilities on his teammates to trick them into thinking he murdered him when he really took the kid and put him in stasis until he can find out what to do with him. it hasn't been revealed yet but I'd put all my chips that this is what happened.

this thread is awesome, I haven't been following the comics in a while and this story line sounds awesome, I agree with most that Archangel's new attire is nicely concieved, a custom MU figure could be using a xforce archangel, with iron man and hydra agent gear with gi joe stuff, and then sculpting work like the A on his belt, and you could do the wings exact but it'd take a long fucking time and you'd have to make 2 sets 1 down where it looks like a cap and 1 set open, someone message Jin Saotome, give him 2 weeks and we'll have 1 on ebay lol.

Dude you really need to check Uncanny X-force out. It is the best X-men title out right now and it seems like every issue get's better and better each week. Plus if you read the Age of Apocalypse they've been intertwining them. In the issue that this the topic of this thread they just returned from the AoA to find Warren's Archangel persona fully ascended.


p.s you know how Nightcrawler died? You know how that blows hardcore because Nightcrawler rules? Well they're doing the next best thing to bringing him back. The AoA Nightcrawler is going to be joining Uncanny x-force after schism. This way we get a more ruthless Nightcrawler with less morals and the mainstream Nightcrawlers death is still meaningful.
