I'd be very bummed if they killed Cyclops. But I guess thats the whole idea. Get you emotionally involved, make you care and what not.

I just hope this ends the crossovers for a while, not going to happen but one can hope. I did like hearing that Avengers had something else in it besides AvX. I find this and other things like it an interruption of story. But this is a place where they could do some kind of reboot, or at least a jump start. I am not sure that I am totally into the New 52 but it did get me titles to read. If Marvel uses the same kind of model, no major crossover, concentration on stories and a more diverse landscape would be nice. too many titles are related to either Avengers or X-Men. They need a break from this.

I agree with you on that! Way too many major Marvel title cross overs. Wasn't it Civil War that started all of this? Although Civil was a pretty good story, but kind of went down hill after Skrull Invasion.

In terms of the past decade, House of M started the crossover binge at Marvel to my knowledge at least. Regardless, I agree. I would like a huge break from crossovers for at least 5 yrs.

That would be great this way writers could write long plotted out stories instead of smaller ones all broken one. Didn't someone say this months Avengers have little to do with AvX but with a different plot? If so that is great. I hated Fear because the way it ruined stories. I know this is supposed to be big but I hope solo titles skip it.

With Storm fighting with the X-Men how wll it effect her standing with the Avengers?

Quick question that is somewhat related to AvX. Is the current Amazing Spiderman "Ends of the Earth" story line supposed to be set in the past, the future, or somehow beyond my reasoning, concurrent with the AvX storyline that is also currently happening.

but he was there with the Avengers in AvX and Doc Ock took out the Avengers in EotE part 2. Sorry to be such a dumbass, but does this mean that one is actually affecting the 616 universe's canon and one isn't?

No clue, I lost track of the Spider-Man continuity after Spider-Man: One More Day. He's still not back with MJ is he?

I don't read Avengers Academy so could you PM me a quick synopsis without spoiling it for all?!

EDIT-
It's flawed...latest issue I mean. My buddy kept complaining after reading it as we made our drive down to the theater to see Avengers Thursday. He brought up some very fine points. There really is no reason for them to be fighting...X-Men should know that Cap wouldn't do anything too drastic.

Plus Wolverine is the only character that was written as himself.

His old self maybe. But if you've been following his recent character development from schism through the recent and wonderful wolverine and the X-men 1-9 his willingness to kill a kid, regardless of how bad the threat is completely out of his current character.

Still don't believe me? Then I offer you this comic fact: Wolverine couldn't even kill the Child Apocalypse because he thought maybe he could be raised to be good. FRIGGIN Apocalypse! So Fantomex took care of business even though he found a way around it (cloned child apocalypse) and now kid apocalypse is part of Logan's new school in spite of a precognition (or memory) from deathlok that shows him still become evil Apocalypse.

So he'll trust a would be apocalypse but kill the only kid who could probably control the Phoenix somehow? sorry, that's completely out of character, Marvel.
