thanks for the list! just read Avengers vs X-men 0 and now have to track down Avengers X-Sanction

AvX #0 was surprisingly good! It didn't really set up the war between the two teams but did have some great moments between Wanda and Vision and showed what a badass hope can be with and without powers.

Haters gonna hate even if this event turns out to be good or mildly entertaining mostly because these two teams have gone at it before with the X-men losing just about every time.

The difference is that the X-men have never been as stacked as they currently are or as dangerous since they are on the brink of extinction and are willing to go the distance to survive as a race. All in all I'm really looking forward to the fun match ups. Marvel is really making this one fan friendly with the AvX VS 1-6.

Plus...with a free digital copy with each print as well as the new infinite comic featuring Nova with AvX #1 I don't see a reason I wouldn't be collecting this series.

And once again some kind of crossover has to ruin the chance for any serious writing. Going to get the Avengers and New Avengers book and possibly the core but nothing extra.

haha serious writing in comics lol. But seriously im glad they leave books like FF alone and be awesome every issue. And frankly im not even sure if events like these make that much more money for marvel than lengths of time without them. But I read monthly all those titles but the xmen stuff. Ive never bought an xmen related comic.....but ive been reading Avengers books since like 2004. Im waiting for the day Jonathan Hickman writes an xmen comic.

I got number 0 today and I tell you there was a part in there that choked me up. When Vision met Wanda, and that is all I am saying.

Have #0 and #1 just got purchased today. Great reads so far. Love the last scene with Cap and Cyclops. Won't go into detail for spoilers sake

yeah, read avengers 24.1 (i usually dont read many comics, but I have been picking more up)...

Then I read avx #1...pretty solid start, not to spoil but things look like they are ready to boil!

For those of you who purchased #1 and haven't yet redeemed your digital copy....go do that shit now.

You get the first issue if infinite comics: Featuring Nova for free at the end of AvX #1 digital and it was pretty damn cool!

While story wise it didn't offer much in the grand scheme of things, it was a very inspiring peek at what the potential for telling stories digitally holds. This is NOT a motion comic. It feels like a comic, you control the tempo of when you want to progress the story, it's just a really good looking unique "Supplement" to a decent first issue of this event.

Check it out for yourselves and let me know what you think. You paid 3.99 you might as well get your money's worth by checking out the extras.

I bought #0 and #1, but haven't read 0 yet (I read #1 last night). Reading one comic book makes me realize I have no idea what is going on. So Magneto defers to Cyclops now? I know the X-Men is a team, but I never thought Mags would really follow anyone. Although, based on everything Scott said and did in #1, he almost seems like the new Magneto.

Am I the only one that finds it funny that the first issues story is callaborated by 5 guys?

Either way I'm only in it to see what happens to Hope. This is the first 616 Marvel story I've picked up in years.

Did anyone download that AR app? I'm not sure if AvX is the first they're using that, but I thought it was kinda... neat. I wouldn't pay for that, but some of the scenes were cool (the cover).

SO much hyprocrisy going on with Avengers side...so Phoenix force is a threat...but Scarlet Witch can get away with nearly destroying an entire species? cause that's ok lol

Completely leftfield, but I'm starting to think they might kill cyclops off in this event. Make him a martyr for his cause which becomes the new basis for an all new brotherhood.

Other than that, so far this event isn't doing anything for me as it feels like Cyclops started this "war" out of pure arrogance and refusal to try and talk it out with striking Cap first. Oh, and I love how scott went off on Cap with that entire "Where were you" bit... Though cap should have answered him. "I was anti-registration, and then I got shot and was dead for most of that!" >.>

I'd also find it rather funny though if neither wanda nor hope get the phoenix powers, and it ends up going to the now cured cable, nate grey, or Luke Cage's baby. It just seems more open for interesting stories if someone other than hope gets it, since it's already been shown she can channel or mimic the power just by it being near to earth.



New Nova has to be from St Louis. xD

I was talking with the owner at my LCS and I made a quip about how Hope could be yet another creation of the Scarlet Witch. Only we both looked at each other and sighed, realizing this could probably be possible. Also, it hasn't even been resolved if Hawkeye is also Wandas creation after he "died" during Disassembled.

I hate this stupid rule that only telepaths get the Phoenix Force. Let Danny Rand be the new host since the mystical city of Kun Lun now apparently has ties to the Phoenix in an upcoming issue of New Avengers.

I'm still more interested to find out who Wolverine will ultimately side with in the end...or if he's gonna be to this event what Spidey was in Civil War; Start off on one side and end up on the other.

Hopefully that is for continuity sake and not because they write slow ;)

Nah I doubt it. I hope they tie in Rachel Grey Summers in though, I like seeing the Summers family line in the books, especially now that they brought back Havok as well.

in new avengers #24, its simply a prologue to the battle at Utopia from the avengers perspective. We dont even get wolvies persepctive on all this. But we do learn that Storm leaves to presumably join with the xmen.

Again just kidding, because a lot of the storytelling these days can be kinda slack and so we as fans for any length of time are hard to please/keep in the dark as far as events go

don't think he is currently on the team but he has been an on again off again avenger from way back so I was being funny except no one was laughing and yeah as far as the story goes from what I've read Luke will be in the dog house for a while

its kinda sad that cage is the only member of all the current avengers with a semblance of a stable relationship/marriage. but that is whole different discussion away from Avx. But i really just wanna talk about comics on here lol.
