Right on, thats exactly what I was looking for. These books are pretty quick reads and I can knock those out in a weekend or two to get caught up.

I am going to give this wole Marvel Now a shot but I already dont like some of the designs.

Going back to AvX, forgot to mention a moment that literally made me LOL. When BP slapped Tony. I notice he is not feeling that dude too much these days. Basically treating him like a bitch. Is there anything behind that, other than Civil War stuff, or is BP just a cantankerous old black man who doesn't give a shit about his wife and homies anymore lol?

Id say hes pretty pissed that the Avengers sought refuge in Wakanda, which led to the destruction of his home.

sidenote: Dropping Captain Marvel, and Dark Avengers after this week...about to drop New Avengers as well...too much filler in New Avenegers

Exactly. I got all those and casual knocked them out in a couple of weeks then I was ready to read me some new X-Men stories. One thing though is that all of these take place after they killed off Jean for good in New X-Men, which had some terrible plots and artwork. All you need to know is Jean Grey, something something Phoenix, she dies and tells Scott to move on with Emma. Basic Phoenix stuff lol.

Ok, finally got around to reading this weeks books. AvX was good, but avengers had some bad art. Plus, we have two books that contradict each other in terms of Xaviers involvement.

How so? Haven't read round 10 yet and I'm not following any of the other books. I'll catch up on Uncanny and Wolverine and the X-Men soon though.

what? xavier? ok ,i have to reiterate that. he was only in one page of AvX 10, and I got what he was saying wrong, that he didnt want to get involved. Hes does, but were gonna find out later. on when he makes a scheme with Magneto.HOWEVOR, in avengers he goes and wipes the floor with everyone with his psychic powers. Keep in mind this book is supposed to take place before AvX 8. talk about behind schedule.

Finally got around to picking up 9,10 and VS 4. Loved spidey. Love Emma just being a crazy bi*ch. The fights in VS are sick! I like seeing Daredevils analysis of a fight. 10 was cool too. I like the set up for 11. I agree with whoever said it, the 2nd half is much better.

I hated the VS. book. Dropped it after the first issue. I want more story than some fighting that doesnt go anywhere.

i would enjoy the VS fights if they actually made sense.

Namor losing on his own turf against Thing and Luke Cage was one of the dumbest things ever. EVER.

And the stalemate between Psylocke and Daredevil was a copout and just downright lame. Same thing with Spiderman vs Colossus, Colossus wins not because he was actually winning but because Spiderman had to retreat.

Well I watch anime and read mangas. So the way I see it, the VS books is just filler fighting. Not meant to go anywhere, just look cool. Avx is the first series I've really picked up. Do comics ever do filler like the VS books?

Yeah the vs. books are filler. Ive been reading comics for like 10 years now and ive seen this shit pulled every event since Disassembled. Like a cycle. Thats why I save my money and dont buy every tie in.

Finally read Round 10.

I loved the part with Emma and Mags. Only because he's my second favorite bad dude behind Doom and the "Damn it..." line saved this version of Magneto for me. I lol'd at that for a few minutes. He's thinking "WTF is wrong with me coming at this crazy bitch butt naked". All I have ever known is cold hearted but calculated Magneto and the way he has been acting throughout all of this is really starting to piss me off. All while reading Im thinking why would Magneto of all mutants not have a contengiency plan in case some silly shit like this ever went down. I know Ive missed a lot of X-Men continuity over the years (lol just noticed in this issue that this fool Charles is walking...wtf?) but Magneto is not gonna put 100% trust in the leadership of Scott Summers and Emma Frost.

Anyway, I liked this issue and think its gonna end nice. I cant wait to see what Hope's full on persona will be after this. Im thinking she's about to become something great. Just the opinions of a dude who hasn't read comics in years. Im always interested in you guys' responses because your knowledge is saving me money on back issues. Dueces.

The Ultimate Universe Magneto was the unflinching evil badass.

It makes sense to me that Magneto would chill over the years with all that's happened. His powers weakening and then going away for a time. I think M Day really changed a lot. When you go from millions of mutants spread around the planet to less than 1,000 you have to change your thinking. If he wanted to kill all humans they wouldn't have enough to repopulate anyway. Scott keep things together for the entire mutant population when they were very close to being killed off. Magneto was either dead or powerless most of that time, otherwise I do think he would have been involved.

But hey, I was always the person that wanted to see Xaiver and Magneto working together on some middle ground.

Sorry to let this hang, but in general. That is the wrong Iron Man suit, hell Tony is not even Iron Man anymore. Also since all of this shit is going on why doesn't Thor contact Asgardia for help. All his fellow gods do owe him. Where is Doom in all of this? Are they trying to tell us he would just sit there doing nothing? And then in the last issue of Avengers Reed tells Cap the FF are sitting it out, with Ben captured? Makes little sense. There are many other Avengers not being heard from like Monica Rambeau/Photon, She Hulk, Black Widow. They could help out if need and what about Alpha Flight? I know they are from Canada but this should also include them.

But you bring up a good point about photon. where the hell has she been? Ive been reading comics for years and ive never seen her make an appearance.

Does anyone else think we're going to see a Cyclops vs. Hope issue #12? It seems like they are setting up a Scott vs Emma issue #12. It'd be awesome if Cable is fully healed and helps defeat Cyclops in order to protect Hope.
