Been waiting for something like this! I recall the last version of this guy sold to the public was large and expensive, so nice to see a cheaper figure release. Will be nice to have a central figure to show my fandom for the company that has made many of my favorite films/shows!

Given how many franchises JJ Abrams ruined from Star Wars to Star Trek... the only reason I'd buy one is to point at it and scream into its face while wagging a newspaper "NO!!! BAD!!! Bad robot! No crapping on established franchises anymore!"

Definitely a mixed legacy with that guy. I liked Super8... and he was involved with Fringe. Have not seen Cloverfield, so cannot comment.

Abrams as some kind of kaiju, destroying franchises all around him might be more appropriate lol. Dude is the king of the unearned narrative payoff.
