Not sure if a post is already here i did look and didn't see any...Anyway I walked into Family Dollar and saw these Marvel Universe figures I mean the Avengers line has more articulation then these lol.Kinda embarrasing they would throw these figures into this line.Only 3 figures Iron Man,Spider-Man and Captain America.I am a completionist lol so I had to pick them up for 5.00 a pop.

Someone did post it in the Appreciation Thread, although who it was currently escapes me. I like the idea of lower priced figs for lower-income families, no kid should be denied a cap/spidey or stark fig simply due to the current prices

Sure, for a $1 or $2, otherwise you might as well just buy the regular figures.

Yep been posted before. Those are the only 3 figures in that set. I believe they are figures from the vehicles, hence the severe lack of articulation.
Spider-man- "I got your articulation right here!"

I just saw these today and LOL'd at them. It confuses me though because they actually sell the real MU figs for $8 so not sure why they would waste the plastic and paper to even card these horrible things.

As others mentioned, it was posted in the Appreciation thread (by PeteParker, IIRC), but no one made a separate thread for them until now.

Personally, I don't think they're worth $5.00. But I know what that completionist OCD can do to one's wallet.

I wouldn't count them in my collection as they're smaller than regular MU, at least based on Pete's picks. Of course it's up to each of you to make that call.

Haha that's exactly what I was thinking..

Maybe replace it with Macy's? Anything that still owns a parade is big shit in my book. :P

What sort of shield is that? The kind that pegs on Cap's arm, or straps, or what?

I went looking for these whenver they were first posted on the Appreciation thread, and found bare pegs with pictures of these figures on them. I asked a clerk, who had no idea, I think i'm better off not adding these to my real deal collection anyways. they have no number or series on the back and they don't say exclusive on the box.
