I was left a little disappointed with the DCUC wave 1 Batman and I finally did something about it.

I took the body from a DC Superheroes Wave 3 Batman. I didn't like his gnarly, half-warped face, but I loved the rest of him. Giant pouches and all.

Then DCUC came along and gave us a new Bats, one with a wholly non-warped face, but kind of boring everything else.

A quick bath in hot water for both of them, and a simple head swap and I was pleased, even though the blues didn't match. The answer of course was to make our "Dark" Knight exactly that. Dark. A couple of thin coats of black paint and a semi-gloss sealant for a somewhat shined up look brought everything home. I then took to his left foot with a drill bit just the right size to provide a hole for the peg on the stands from Matty Collector and I was done. Enjoy.

Surprising how one simple head swap, can turn something mediocre into fantastic!
