I think he's been blown since before CW- they made him out of touch and he's been that way several years now- just soldiering on, fighting the same rogue's gallery over and over...

Cap used to travel the country on a Herley, helping people with their inprobably timed super villian issues, stumbling into one plot after another...it was nice.

Now he just waits for some attack, responds, fucks Sharon, rescues Sharon from her kidnapping of the week and gets shot by/forgives Sharon...occasionally fighting some retconned threat from his past, etc.

its too bad, he evolved into this grandfatherly figure. He'd have to pull an optimus prime(youll get this if you read IDW) and ditch who he is(maybe become nomad again) and travel the country doing vigilante justice to go back to his roots.

Sorry about that, I mean I didn't follow the old Thor numbering into Journey into Mystery took back over the title. But it sounds as if I am missing something. I may have to check it out.
