oh ok sorry ill try to make it more clear but it was my 1st cable i didnt know what it was i just wanted cable i didnt know they had error packeges but i kept it in the box im trying to post my collection

just found out that 1andonly5711 is my homie jamal i met last year when i first started collecting mu. i bought my warbird and og bullseye from him...i went to his apt and seen his loose collection its bigger than mine..

I don't think they are for the most part. Just the ones where they're mass-produced. If they're widely available for a shot time, I think that counts.


I'm glad I went looking for the Gold Shield Spider-Woman tonight, I was able to find not only the one I was missing, but also a Psylocke, a Cable, and a Maskless Cap! Thanks Shawn!

ok i have been watching this thread for a min and seeing all the pack errors, card art and shield colors so i gots to thinking. if hasbro has done this with MU what would stop them from doing it to ML? i looked at some old collection pix i posted and noticed something. i dont know if its valid but IS something to check on for MOC ML completest

piledriver doesnt have the "return of marvel legends" art in the top right, its on the bottom right. if anyone else has one then check it and see if its top or bottom


and also my cap series sam jackson doesnt have a "walmart exclusive" splash on it

dont even know if these are credible but this thread got me thinking

I was checking my pics and I have or had both Piledrivers. I'm not worried about the sticker parts. As a completist I'll be fine

As for Nick Fury you can always take off the Walmart sticker

These packaging changes aren't done by Hasbro to upset completionists or to screw with the fandom. I doubt anyone really thought about completionists when they switched from the black S.H.E.I.L.D. logo to the gold one, other than the fact that they decided to tweak the packaging design (maybe even due to a suggestion made by Marvel).

Since it was changed around wave 2 or 3 of Series 3, any subsequent release of figures from the first couple waves have the potential to get a gold shield release along with their original black shield release. But because that changeover occurred so long ago, I doubt there will be any more transitional variants (like with the Cap'n and Doc).
