I know this is a bit off the topic, but while trying to get an idea on displaying my Mcfarlane Dc line, I looked through my DC Universe Classics by Mattel and realized they never released a first appearance Superman. I thought that was quite a hole they left …plus a parallax would have been nice.

Anyway I don’t know how deep mcfarlane will go but I’m here for the ride.

Didn't realized these are randomly inserted variants. That all clear-green Batman's pretty cool looking, but I'm not going to go out of my way to hunt for it.

I like the figure a whole lot more than I ever thought I would. Never been a big McFarlane fan. But I thoroughly enjoy look forward to a lot of his releases. He wooed me during the pandemic because I could actually find new releases in stores.

I found the Super Powers colorway Hawkman in a case of regulars recently. The "Collector Edition" figures are shipped in solid character cases. So your odds of finding a Platinum Edition are a little better.

Those legs on steel look odd. I’m sure it’s just the pose…..I hope.

Accessory wise on Wonder Woman…total win on Mcfarlane’s part. I’d happily pay $30 for a “complete” or “ultimate” version of the characters. Marvel legends….man I get they are $5 cheaper….but I keep shaking those bags to see the accessories….so many of the MCU of late have come with none. I’ll never understand why one figure gets so many and others none. I guess to balance the cost but when I’m robbing power rangers for accessories that’s rough. At least with mcfarlane, the “boom stick” issue with WB is a big part, and he did supply those accessory sets but again more cost.

Any way, I’m hopeful he has settled on this formula for all future collector figures.
