Seems to me that the link you posted is for an active preorder. I'm going to take a guess and say that the seller's product is probably going to come from the Standard Access period.

Maybe BBTS doesn't plan on carrying Ice. Or maybe their staff weren't able to purchase her during Early Access for some reason and now they are waiting until Standard Access to put up a listing.

Well whatever the reason may be, it left me with no choice but to buy it off Matty. I now need to go take a shower to wash off the that awful stench. However, **** Matty and their $14 UPS shipping. I went for their over priced $10 deedeedee method.

The link for that Pre-Order was me asking if the Ebay seller was going to Repost on Saturday AM I made the Initial Post Friday Night. As of yet 1206pm eastern Monday June 16, 2014 BBTS still does not have Ice up Mattel does have it up.

Are the DC Collectable Figures a good replacement for DCUC ? I just figured I'd ask for when I'm able to get around to building up a New 52 Collection

Yes and No.....
4H/Mattel figures are 6 inches Male and 5 3/4 inches female. The DCC/DCD are 6 3/4 male and 6 female for standard figures. The exeption is oversized like Brother Wrath fits as do some larger characters. I will admit I have Talia Al Ghul because I popped her head off of the Arkham Origins and Painted Marvels Madam Masque body

Ok, so that eBay link had nothing to do with your comments in that same post, then. Without any other context to go by, it seemed like you were inferring that Ice wasn't even available on eBay yet.

It really depends on what you're planning to do with them. If you want to mix-and-match with DCUC, then there are scale issues as CMIII mentioned.

If you plan on making a New 52 collection from scratch that only uses DCC molds, then it's not a bad alternative. To me, they're about the same as DCUC. Then again, I'm not a hardcore DC collector, so I may gloss over certain details that other collectors tend to flip their lids over.

Honestly, it's not like Mattel cared that much about scale either. I really don't have a problem mixing and matching my DCU stuff with my DCD stuff. My problem with DCD/DCC is the quality control issues, lack of articulation, and cheapness of their plastic.

Got the new DCC Greg Capullo Riddler, and lemme tell you guys, this has gotta be the BEST Riddler ever made. I mean, I like the jumpsuit version, don't get me wrong, but the suit is a much better fit for such an intellectual enemy. The sculpt is beautiful, he has some decent articulation ( he won't be doing any high kicks, but I'll survive), he's not too cartoony lookin', and he's a pretty good fit with DC Universe Classics, since Nygma was always a slightly taller guy.

Ice did Sell out but that still seems not to make much sense since DC figures do not sell.. But on the plus side after 2015 Mattel wont be doing any 4H figures for anyone.

But it is not the ugly thing we saw back in Jan from people who got the figure from China. Now I am glad I waited.

It's odd. This time I refused to do the $14 for UPS and I got her on Saturday (technically) with the $10 USPS option. That was quicker than had I done it by UPS.

Glad you guys were able to get your hands on one (even if you still inadvertently supported Mattel by doing it )

Sure it does, if you consider Mattel probably made far less of her than they would have if there was a sub or if she was sold at retail. If I make 1000 copies of a toy and only sold 110 of them, then they didn't sell very well. So for my next toy I decided to only make 100 and sold all of them. Hey, look at that: sold out.

And what exactly does that have to do with this thread?

I'm trying to turn what people have said about the DCUC figures around. With it not making sense. As for what does it have to do with this thread, Nothing, but what does postal delivery have to do with this thread? or DCC/DCD stuff? or Total Heroes? or even my 4th of July shows 3 Marvel Legends. I know you Harp on MOTU and DCUC being different but what affects one will affect the other.
