i like the sculpt alot. i have to say that mattel went all out with this guy, the packaging and the whole hidden joints all would have taken quite a bit of tome and effort and i think that it deserves some credit. the rubber possibly cracking along the joints and the so called ab belly fat roll don't really bother me that much, the seam on the face does more. if and that's a big if it happens at all you can fix any of the tearing with a product called tool dip. it's perfect for that kind of stuff and it's cheap. the ab roll is pretty much a matter of material not being magic. there is no way to have the articulation of a dc universe toy/'s abdomen with out having that tiny lil' roll of rubber. the face seam bug me more as it has a big gap running through it and the placement is quite prominent.
that being said it is a prototype being pictured so until i get one in person i'll reserve casting judgement.

Really nice figure, but I find almost incredible that Mattel is having issues with a type of joint articulation that they have mastered for like 50 years or so (yes, the Barbie knee joints)
Maybe they have already fixed this issues on production... let's hope.

I'm really bummed and disappointed that this is an SDCC exclusive... If anyone is going, would you mind possibly picking one up for me?
