I like your brain and the way it works. Fund all of these, Hasbro.
Kinda liked the way Death was being drawn at the beginning of that series? I feel like that should be her look.

Thanks! Yeah, I could see that look working.

With just a few days out from SDCC, I'm going to make a prediction on the 2019 X-Men wave, with two variations. That way it won't get lost in the main thread and I can go back and see how close I am.

Prediction one:

BAF: Xavier Hoverchair

1. Professor Xavier
2. Mystique - classic outfit (female figure 1 and villain 1)
3. Moonstar/Blink - (female figure 2) (I included Emma, Magik, Jubilee and Monet in these before but I think those four will come later.) (this would also for the most part cover "various X-team" character)I predict more Blink or Moonstar because they'll want to give us one "never done before" figure, and that's probably the only reason Emma would take a back seat
4. Gambit
5. Nightcrawler OR Beast. The costly figures. We almost certainly won't be getting both of them.
6. Sinister (villain 2, and last of the "big six")
7. Required Wolverine figure.

Prediction 2:

With Xavier/Hoverchair moved to the riders series:

BAF: Nimrod

1. Classic Mystique (female figure 1 and villain figure 1)
2. Blink/Moonstar (female figure 2 and various X-team figure 2) see above for reasons why I didn't include Magik, Jubilee, Emma and Monet.
3. Sinister (villain 2)
4. Gambit
5. Beast or Nightcrawler
6. Required Wolverine
7. Cannonball or Sunspot (various X-team figure and if Sunspot a never done before figure. Also, if we do get Sunspot in this slot I can see them giving us Emma in female slot #2.)

I'd take either wave. I think the build a hover chair idea is the better bet, I just don't see the chair warranting the $40 price tag the riders figures are set at. I feel like there's a decent chance they'll slip classic Mystique into the Captain Marvel wave as one of the comic based figures since her first appearance was Ms. Marvel #16/17. I think a Jim Lee Jubilee or a reissue of Magik are no brainers, they would save a ton money to put towards a character that requires more new tooling

If they do end up putting classic Mystique into the Captain Marvel wave that would probably open a female spot for Emma, Jubilee or Magik. Still going to say the female slot #2 will be a new figure, because I think Gambit, Sinister, Nightcrawler/Beast, and required Wolverine will be locks, and that's four of the 7(assumed, could be 6-8) figures right there.

I think we'll definitely see a classic Mystique this year in SOME kind of wave. Too obvious not to do at this point.

I’m wondering if we’ll see Prof X as a legendary rider. It could work. Maybe they’ll do one in a wheelchair in the X-Men wave and the Hoverchair in the riders wave. I feel like someone already said that, I apologize if I’m repeating it.

I was thinking, if we got a Professor X in the Riders wave, since some people have pointed out that his hoverchair might be too small... what about including both the hoverchair and a standard wheelchair?

That might work. I think the main thing is we're likely going to get a Professor X with chair(s) soon. Hopefully 2019. How it is done will depend, I think, on if that's the BAF or something else - prefer Nimrod but I could see Strong Guy. Obviously if we get a Professor X hoverchair as the BAF/V they'll include him in the wave - I know Hasbro has done some head-scratchers in the past but there's no way they would be that disorganized to not put the two together.

I would hope that if they do a Strong Guy, they give us some 90s appropriate X-Factor guys too.

that would be great. Imagine getting him as a rider, Strong Guy in the X-Force wave as BAF and Nimrod in the main X-men wave as BAF (or switch the last two I guess.) ALL IN ONE YEAR. **swooons, feels faint** It would kind of be how I felt about getting Sauron this year. Not that Apocalypse doesn't look fantastic, but I was a little disappointed that BAF wasn't Sauron, but that was before we had any idea about the Sauron wave even being a thought.

I’m just wondering, has it been rumored that we are getting a Nimrod or strong guy build a figure? You keep mentioning it and I’m not sure it’s just something you really want or just something that could happen. I would love to see them too. Please don’t think I’m trying to start an argument here.

Oh no worries I don't think you're trying to start an argument. I just think they are the logical choices and the ones I've seen on Fwoosh and here mentioned quite a bit. Quite honestly I could care less if Strong Guy gets made as he's a character I've never warmed to - but I would build him and keep him if he were a BAF of a wave I already wanted. Nimrod is definitely a want though, but he's also mentioned a bit. Now that we got...SAURON!(must be done in caps) out of the way, he's my most wanted X-related BAF and second overall behind Atlas.

Also that quip that was on the rumor list from last year "muscular guy in pants". That could be a lot of characters of course, including Warpath, but even Hasbro threw in that picture of Strong Guy last year saying something like "I bet you though you'd be getting this guy..." I do think that's an obvious lead in to him being made soon. Otherwise that's just cruel to the people who do want him.

Legendary Riders - Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Re-use one of the t-rexes they made when they had the Jurassic Park license maybe.

Everyday Heroes - A bunch of civvie-clad heroes who don't need to throw on their tights to fight the good fight. This would consist of a LOT of new molding, so I'm going to go without a BAF for this one.

Clint Barton - Based on his 'Hawkguy' appearance in the Matt Fraction run, with bull's-eye shirt and sweatpants (or jeans, whichever). Includes alternate 'bandaid' head, bow, quiver, boomerang arrow, half-filled coffee pot, and Lucky
Logan - Basically consists of throwing the jacket and arms from Old Man Logan onto the Legendary Riders Logan. Includes alternate hands and alternate 'Patch' head
Jennifer Walters - Dressed in her lawyer attire, but still tall, green, and muscled. Includes alternate 'hair down/no glasses' head and briefcase
Peter Parker - No idea on the outfit (my brain is stuck in the old 90s Spider-Man cartoon look). Includes alternate hands (web-shooting, fists, open), removable glasses, camera w/ strap, and alternate half-Spidey 'Spider Sense' head
Tony Stark - Black suit w/ red tie. Includes alternate 'sunglasses' head, alternate 'armored up' arm with both fist and open 'repulsor blast' hands, briefcase, and drink glass
Matt Murdock - Grey suit w/ black tie, sunglasses. Includes alternate 'no glasses' head (possibly with a slight smirk), cane, alternate hands (open and fists w/ scuffed knuckles)
Jessica Jones - Mostly a reuse of the Man-Thing wave version, but with the jacket zipped closed and a new, non-Krysten Ritter headsculpt. Includes alternate hands (fists, open), camera, and bottle

For the RUMORED Uncanny X-Force wave, though I'm not sure it's been confirmed just Uncanny X-Force

Warpath BAF:

X-Force Wolverine
X-Force Psylocke
X-Force Deadpool
Cannonball
Sunspot
Boomer or Siryn. Prefer Siryn but I could see it being Boomer, Siryn could always come in a Deadpool wave later.

I would say Archangel but since we're getting the deluxe edition I suspect they won't be single carding him. This line up makes a nice line up of 3 classic X-Force figures and 3 from the Uncanny X-Force Days, and Warpath going for the middle X-FOrce days of Kyle and Yost.

Boomer's more likely, if only because Falcon said that he wants to get some teams completed, and they're this close to having done all of Nextwave (even if they're not all in the right outfits)

That is one thought i had as to why it could be Boomer. That and the fact that Boomer seemed to be more popular than Siryn. for the life of me I can't figure out why, she was another of those "never warmed to" characters. but you know she's an X-related figure, so if they made her I'd get her.

How about a 70's ish Marvel "Grindhouse" or "'sploitation" Wave reveling in their wacky pop media inspired stuff.

Classic Luke Cage. Open shirt, tiara and 'fro
Classic Iron Fist with big collar outfit
Shiang Chi Master of Kung Fu
Damian Hellstrom, Son of Satan
Jack Russel Werewolf By Night
Classic Misty Knight
Steel Serpent

Build a Figure = Shou-Lao the Dragon that empowers Iron Fist.

We haven't posted for a while in this thread, but I'm going to go ahead and "pick" the X-wave for 2020, since we know what the 2019 wave is. Granted the rumored upcoming waves for X-Force, Vintage and a possible Wolverine wave (with the Wendigo, still not sure if he's X-Force but I'm not sure why he would be). This is also assuming all the Walgreens listings are correct, and I'm also going to stick with my theory that a FA Storm will show up in either a Box set or Walgreens exclusive, thus I am NOT including her in any waves.

Anyways my 2020 X-men wave

Locks:
Jim Lee Storm - whatever color does not come in the Vintage wave.
Nightcrawler - he's the only A-list X-man left for Hasbro to do in any costume. Surely he's got to be coming in 2020
Mr. Sinister - as far as i'm on concerned he's the last of the "major" X-men villains to be done by Hasbro.
Wolverine - of some type. FA is taken care of by the 2 pack and X-Force will be taken care of in the X-FOrce wave most likely. Not sure where that leaves us, my guess would be AoA Wolverine.

Not so much locks but what would be great to see in the last three slots:

Lady Deathstrike - unless she shows up in the Wolverine wave if there is one. Then I'm going to say either Monet or a modern Rogue of some sort for that second female slot.

If Deathstrike is the 5th figure that's 5 remakes by Hasbro so the last two slots would be brand new figures: I'm going to guess Exodus and Black Tom Cassidy, giving us a more villain-centric wave but with three notable figures to balance it out (or four if Rogue is included). I could though see them going ahead and giving us Pyro and Avalanche, since they're no doubt in the pipeline in some form.

BAF: Nimrod of course. But Strong Guy is a possibility.

I'm also going to go ahead and line out the 2021 wave if all of my first picks for this wave end up being correct:

BAF: Whichever of Nimrod/Strong Guy doesn't get made

Wolverine of some type
Female spots - Rogue/Monet if neither of them show up in the 2020 wave. If one does, the second female spot could be Callisto.
Pyro
Avalanche
Jim Lee or Classic (80s X-Factor) Iceman - they're close enough to each other IMO that they could be used for one another
Banshee or Longshot

I think IMO that if the X-Force and Deadpool lines pad out some of the OG X-Force figures and Deadpool wave helps with this as well, that would pretty much give us just about everything we "Need" from X-Men. Of course, I'd like to see another several years of it - but mostly it would be a villain here and there and alternate costumes.
