				 | Quote: Ah cheers. Modern era. Ok cool. Aye, I used to have Joes when I was a kid in the 80s and I've said before how the vehicles really drew me to it. Used to love filling those up with all the figures and such. And aye I had some 25th Anniversary ones back around whenever that was. 2007, 2008? And aye just been noticing Joes again since Classified happened. Still not sure on the new scale myself (because it limits what vehicles can be made and such) but I'm glad to see Joes being successful again because it seemed kinda dead a few years back. It actually took me some time to warm to the new scale, I was actually dead against 6" when the line debuted. The return to the classic aesthetics with modern tweaks ultimately won me out, though. |

Just acquired 5 Alley Vipers with 1 leader and 4 Specialist. Bought 5 Grid Iron Studios Loadout sets for Alley Vipers and got 4 Loadout sets for the BATs and Roadblock his regular gun along with Gung Ho and Spirit.

Very nice! Grid Iron's products are fantastic if pricey.

Yeah, Ill give you that, especially in regards to the o-rings. I'm still dealing with that to this day. They're an easy enough fix, but I have in the ballpark of 500 o-ring figures, all of which are practically guaranteed to need a yearly o-ring change. It can be daunting at times, to be sure.

Gung-Ho shipped from Pulse. I kind of wish I had canceled him.

Man, I gave up keeping up with the posts on HISSTANK. Which is a shame because I really enjoyed various peoples' discussion on GIJoe, but lately every post end up with an argument over whether Zandar's gay. So now I just look at the title posts and see if anything's new or up for preorder, that's it.

				 | Quote: Quote: Depends on what one would consider extra. AC SE, for example, definitely had extra, that is to say, more gear than he could hold. Most of these figures don't, though- they come with exactly what would make what I consider to be a necessary Joe loadout. For most of these, I would not at all like to see less gear, but in the instances where they go the ME era way of almost giving me too much gear, stands all day. If they changed anything pertaining to gear allotment I'd gladly take fists. I don't require 8 extra sets of hands that I'll likely never use. Fists or relaxed hands would be most welcome. I'm excited they are including those with Retro Storm Shadow and hope that's something that continues. I'll use fists quicker than a figure stand. |

I just pulled out the first Classified Gung Ho figure to compare to the retro carded version as well, and the newer version is a huge improvement. I didn't mind the way that the actual figure looked in the first release, but I had trouble getting him to hold the grenade launcher style gun or getting either of the other guns to stay on his backpack. The larger tattoo on the new figure looks better and the retro figures hat stays on better. I also didn't realize that the retro figure had a retooled head without the mohawk and the different mustache. Ultimately I am glad that I got this figure since I had planned on passing on the retro figures, as the others seem like a step down compared to the previous releases that I already own. Really, compared to a lot of the newer Classified figures, the original Gung Ho shows how far they have come and improved in a lot of ways, in terms of their hands, weapons, and their ability to store/carry their gear. Rearranged My Classified set up and added my Gridiron order to my BATs and Alley Vipers.

I backed the Haslab, but I really didn't like seeing that money come out of my account. But I guess it's better than my Target pre-orders that keep showing as "Pending" charges on my account. But at least I have a year to figure out where I am going to put it.

If there ever was an action figure designed specifically for the long game... it's Classified Croc Master IMO.

I only kept the croc master figure from the set and sold off the rest pretty much MIB. The croc would've taken up way too much space and the leash looked like shit anyway.

Saw a post about these $1.25 set on Hisstank from Dollar Tree, not bad. The grey color's a little off, but it fits right onto the back peg |

IMO that BAT in the pic needs another claw hand instead of the gun/flamethrower hand so he can have 4 claws and just be the overly grabby claw BAT.
